Lilly saw Quibli at the entrance and had to stay quiet. But Ruby Rose kept bothering her about Quibli.

" Ok, let's strike. " Ruby Rose whispered, sitting right next to Lilly.

" Not yet... We have to wait for him to leave, then we strike. " Lilly whispered back.

Ruby Rose sighed.

" What happened to the old Snowflake? The one who always got in trouble and never followed what I had to say. " Ruby rose began to say. " When we get back, I am never going to do anything with you again. "

Ruby Rose smiled at Lilly, which meant she wasn't ENTIRELY serious.

" Snowflake never existed. Snowflake was another terrible experiment. " Lilly said.

" That's not what I believe. I think she's still in there somewhere... somewhere, in that big body of yours, is a dragonet who came into the past and stopped a crazy Deca-brid from changing the past. I can still see the dragonet who made the worst decision of any dragon's life. I know Snowflake is still there, waiting to do something stupid and change the world in a way no one could know. "

Lilly looked up at Ruby Rose (or the silhouette of Ruby Rose. ) as if she had a tail barb as well.

" Let's just focus on one thing at a time. " Lilly said.

At this moment, she had a few visions on how they're supposed to catch Quibli, and they needed to catch them once he runs away with the book of history. But something inside her was telling her to jump on him NOW!

' I'm tired of waiting, let's go NOW! '

Ruby Rose saw it, and also saw Lilly. Ruby Rose slid underneath Quibli, and took the book. Ruby Rose had to almost rip it out of his hands. But she lost her balance and began to fall too fast. Quibli was diving for Ruby Rose while Lily was only seconds behind Quibli.

' Oh, MOONS! WE'RE GONNA LOSE HER!! '

' NO, WE'RE NOT! '

Lilly remembered a dive that Seahorse would make in some of her races if someone began to get ahead of her... she stopped using it after others kept going higher with it. She would go into the water and swim whichever the current would take her, giving her some more speed, then fly straight up and hawk-dive down, then angle yourself forward. There was an aerial version, which was to catch the current and glide on it, like a kite. Sometimes, this would be an even better solution to the sea-hawk method and was known as the Gliding-kite method (the names were made by the race announcers and sponsors). Lilly felt the wind pulling on her from the east, so she had to glide right. Lilly turned around and straightened her wings to catch the air. She tucked in her legs and head to catch more wind. She was going faster and faster, but she was still moving away from Quibli. A large gust of wind pulled her back forward, then straight up. Now was time for the dive. Lilly tucked in everything and headed for Ruby Rose, who was still having trouble getting her wings up. Lilly wooshed past Quibli and grabbed Ruby Rose and then crashed into a tree. Lilly formed a Rainwing tail to catch a branch before she could fall off. And then, Ruby Rose started laughing.

" WOO! NOW THAT'S THE SNOWFLAKE I KNOW!!! "

Something inside her felt happy about that but now was not the time. Quibli was still racing fast. Lilly slowly put Ruby Rose on the ground, then Lilly clashed with Quibli.

Claws clashed, and tails spun. Quibli was a good fighter and was able to keep Lilly down for a while, but Lilly could think of his next move and use anything as a weapon .... Although, so could Quibli. Quibli tried to make a rock mash her brain in, but Lilly made another rock to destroy that rock. It was brutal, and it lasted a long time.

' We need to call for help! '

' From who? '

' Me! Give me the wheel! '

All of a sudden, Lilly felt less in control and felt like a kid again.

" Alright, Stripes... Let's get this over with. " Snowflake said.

" Over? I have barely even started. "

Then Bumblebee walked in and knocked out Quibli with a sleeping dart.

" Are you alright? " Bumblebee asked.

Snowflake pulled back in, and Lilly came back.

" I'm alright... let's get back. "

Bumblebee slung Quibli onto her back, while they walked off. She nearly forgot Ruby Rose was still here before she began to talk.

" I heard it... and I think you did too... You spoke in Snowflake's voice. "

" So I did... I never thought she could take control of me like that... you were right, she IS still in here, and we have to keep it that way. "
