Chapter 12

They were still faced with three Darkstalkers and an overpowered Quibli, who kept messing with the ground, making them collapse multiple times.

" Quibli, please stop this mess! " Moon begged Quibli.

" Why would I? If I kill you, I get more powerful. I get to be like Lilly, or should I call you Snowflake? " Quibli said.

" Do you guys think we're doing this correctly? " The youngest Darkstalker said. " I feel we're doing this all wrong. "

" What do you mean? " The teen Darkstalker comments. " I think we're doing a wonderful job!"

" Of what? I thought we were meant to rule the world! All we did was scare a couple kids, and kill a weird animus. Not to mention Quibli... poor thing is probably brainwashed. " The youngest Darkstalker said.

" Well, now that you say that, it does feel weird fighting a bunch of these... dragons. Perhaps we should let them go. " The teenage Darkstalker added.

" No, no, NO! THIS WASN'T THE PLAN!!! WE NEED THEM GONE SO WE CAN BE VICTORIOUS!!! Isn't that right, Moon? Can't you see it? " the under-the-mountain Darkstalker said.

" Not really. I only see a few flashes. I can't see your outcome very well, actually. " Moon responded.

" look, I think we should go back home, and just... redo everything. " The youngest Darkstalker said.

" You know what, I think I know his problem. " Teen Darkstalker pointed at the under-the-mountain Darkstalker. " He's losing his soul. Just like Fathom feared. "

" I feel an argument forming. Let's leave before they see us! " Kinkajou said.

And so it did. The three Darkstalkers kept yelling at each other, neither of them thinking of stopping them. Then, the Future Darkstalker appeared behind them. They all readied to attack it, but then they saw Bumblebee and Jerboa.

" Hold it! He's being controlled by Ruby rose and Seahorse. " Bumblebee said.

" Thanks to me. " Jerboa said.

" What do you plan to do? " Lilly said.

" You'll see! " Said a very smiling Darkstalker. (Probably Seahorse).

The Future Darkstalker walked up to the other three and finaly stopped arguing.

" Um... My dear friends! I believe we have done our job!" The "future Darkstalker " said.

" What do you mean? Just a few minutes ago, you said that we were just beginning. " the youngest Darkstalker said.

" Well... I think it would be real nice... erm... a good idea to let them go. " The future Darkstaler let out a weird grin, then immediately dropped it as the under-the-mountain Darkstalker walked slowly towards the Future Darkstalker.

" You seem shorter, and stranger. And... I hear two voices in your head instead of just one... no, make that three. " The under-the-mountain Darkstalker said.

" Yeah... I hear it too. " the youngest Darkstalker said.

" I can assure you that everything is perfectly normal! " Seahorse said, accidentally using her real voice. " Uh oh... I think the spell is..." Then Future Darkstalker fell to the ground.

" Ow... What took you so long? " The future Darkstalker said.

" You're a disgrace." The under-the-mountain Darkstalker now had a necklace in his hand. " How could you let this slip by? "

" Well, it wasn't my fault! "

" FORGET THE EXCUSE!!! I'M RUNNING THIS PLACE NOW!!! "

" Oh really? What are YOU going to do about it? "

The mountain Darkstalker picked up the Future Darkstalker and threw him at a tower. He hit the wall hard, and they heard a heavy CRUNCH. Then he picked up the very limp body and bit off his head. He then dropped the body on the floor.

" I'm in charge now! I am the future now! " The mountain Darkstalker said.

Then a large, mechanical Darkstalker hissed and stomped behind the mountain Darkstalker.

" Look, we should talk... " Seahorse said, from what sort of looked like a head? The machine was all made out of wood and various pieces of valued treasures. The head sort of looked like Darkstalker. It was quickly burned down. Ruby rose and Seahorse was able to escape in time.

" No more speeches... it's time for action. " the mountain Darkstalker said. Quibli rose the ground under the heroes and sent the heroes flying off, away from the Darkstalkers. They landed in a deep part of the rainforest, where they could see a small tent. Then they saw a Nightwing slowly approaching it.

" That's... is it? " Seahorse questioned

" It's Deathbringer... he must be here for Glory. " Bumblebee said, nearly whispering.

" Then let's go rescue her. " Kinkajou said, with a jump.
