The terrifying fluctuation of magic power not only made the entire Li Fire Academy tremble, but also spread to every corner of Li Fire City. The moment the scroll was opened, Ji Dong found himself immobile. The scroll vanished instantly and turned into a dazzling five-colored light that enveloped his body in the center. However, even though the five energies seemed tremendous, they didn't bring him any harm. Apart from his immobility, he didn't feel any pain.

The odd symbols around him started to rapidly fuse into the five-color energy, which then began to swirl, forming a massive vortex revolving around Ji Dong's body.

His surroundings consisted only of these strange five colors. Ji Dong felt as though everything around him had become surreal. At the start, he could still vaguely see the state of the room through the radiance but gradually, all he could see and feel was the luster of the five colors.

He felt as though his body was falling off a great height. The intense feeling of weightlessness made his heart rise to his throat, yet his body remained utterly still, so much so that not even a ripple formed in the wine cup he was holding.

The five-colored light sharply converged. The enormous magic power disappeared in an instant, and Li Fire City returned to its previous tranquility, as if nothing had happened.

Yang Bingtian had just arrived at the academy gate to see off the middle-aged man from the Yin and Yang Mage Guild; suddenly, he felt the immensely powerful fluctuation of magic power, which caused him to be taken aback. Turning his head towards the direction of the Bing Fire Department Teaching Building, he saw his room filled with multi-colored lights.

"No good!" Yang Bingtian cried out in shock. He didn't bother with the middle-aged man next to him, turning around instead, he ran towards the teaching building. The middle-aged man naturally also realized what was happening and quickly followed him.
