Volume 6 - After Thoughts

Hello, with this, the story is nearly finished. Volume 6 is around 1.2million words in total which is pretty wild to me. I didn't think I'd write 1 million words for a single volume since the previous ones were a lot less.

Volume 7 will cover the remaining Volumes of DxD. The end of Volume 6 covered half of Volume 22, so we'll start Volume 7 from there along with other things.

Anyway, the remaining volumes of DxD are:

Volume 22 - Gremory of the Graduation Ceremony (Second half)

Volume 23 - Joker of the Ball Game Tournament

Volume 24 - Grim Reaper of the Off-Campus Learning

Volume 25 - Yggdrasil of the Summer Courses

Shin Volume 1 - Welsh Dragon of the New School Term

Shin Volume 2 - Ruin Princess of the Proficiency Test

Shin Volume 3 - Sun Shower of the School Trip

Shin Volume 4 - Kingdom of the Decisive Battle Study Abroad

Now, as you know they won't be 1 for 1 since a lot of things changed. So after Shin Volume 4, or before that, I'm not sure yet, it will involve a lot of ExE (Evie Etoulde) and CxP (Crepuscule Phantasma).

Volume 7 will finish the DxD, ExE and CxP arcs. There will also be a lot of Rating Games written as well as SOL and other things. After that, we'll be go to Tensura.

Volume 8, is Tensura plus everything else, so DxD, ExE and CxP since there will be loose ends to finish there…and when all that's done. I don't think I'll be able to write all the romances I want for Jin in the main book, so I'll move over to Winds of Change DX, and continue there. But I will also write side stories here.

They'll be formatted like the DX Series. They'll look something like this:

Side Story - 1

Then inside the chapter it'll be like:

Volume (number (usually 8+))

(Chapter title)

The first few chapters of the Side Stories have a vague outline already, and as far as I've outlined, Jin so far has 7 children. But that may increase since I do want more of the girls to have kids with him. But, as a slight spoiler…

The first few chapters of the Side Story will follow Rias and Jin's son. As mentioned before, he'll be known as the [Crimson Haired Red Dragon Emperor]. But he's also a twin, so he has a sister.

On another note, Chapter 16 and everything written on it…was changed a lot by me. Originally, there weren't that man deaths, there were very few, actually. Hell, Lapis wasn't even meant to become an outer god, but…I wanted that arc to be a bit more…I guess have some 'OOMF'.

As you read in EX. 2, the 'War' that Kyoho told them was what was supposedly going to be Chapter 16, with Jin and Manannán mac Lir duking it out and him destroying a large portion of the multiverse with a Kamehameha attack. But I scrapped that and wanted it to be a bit bigger, and we ended up with what I wrote out.

Back to the side stories, once that part with his children is done, we'll go back in time and we'll follow Jin and a few girls going through the multiverse and different worlds. It won't be too detailed since they'll be going to those universes like they're going on a vacation.

Now then, I believe I mentioned something about announcing something for what's after I finish writing Winds of Change DxD and DX.

So, this is what I had in mind, I have a few ideas for more fanfics, but I don't have full outlines on them yet, BUT I have written a prologue for one of them, and half of a chapter 1 (7k words so far). The other…has 900 words.

Anyway, the two that I have something written for are:

1. Another DxD Fanfic….yay… (Prologue + 1 chapter). But I won't release this for a long time, I mean, I just wrote Winds of Change, and that's a massive project. But this one is set… 30 years before canon, so it'll be a long time before we reach it, my outline so far is, the 1st 2 volumes, or even 3 are pre-canon, and then 4 to 6 is canon + my own spin on it. This is a harem…as far as I see, it's either 8 or 12. I'm sure yet.

2. It's a Classroom of the Elite Fanfic. Truthfully, I don't remember much so I'll re-read the entire series after I finish the main fanfic. Just like the other DxD fanfic, it's set 18 years before the main novel, so we'll be starting from birth, early childhood, middle school then Year 1, 2 and hopefully Year 3.

Yes, the MC will have childhood friends from both fan fiction/novels. For COTE I want three, two so far are Hiyori and Fūka, for DxD It's Lavinia and an OC (She'll either look like Kafka from Honkai Star Rail or Alpha from The Eminence in Shadow, I'm not too sure yet), how will I write these? I have some ideas, and yes, it's a harem, but not so large like Winds of Change.

Checking my folder, there's 6 confirmed in the COTE. Nothing more nothing less. As to whom? They may change, but those two are definitely staying. DxD is a bit obvious since I mentioned Lavinia, maybe I'm just bias towards her since she's my favorite, but the girls of Slash/Dog, minus Sae will be in it, plus others.

The others that I WANT to write about but don't have anything concrete are, Fairy Tail, The Legend of Heroes Trails (Series) and maybe an Arifureta fanfic? But it's been a while since I watch/read Fairy Tail, I also haven't played the games (Trails) in a while, so details are iffy for me and I haven't read Arifureta in like 2 years, so…a lot of re-reading for fanfics I wanna write.

On a side note, Winds of Change is written in a 1st and 3rd POV. I generally follow the original work's format, so DxD has both of those, so I did that. The future DxD fanfic will be mainly 3rd POV, while the COTE will be 1st POV, maybe a change to 3rd POV, but I'm not entirely sure yet. As for the other three? They may be 3rd POV too since Arifureta is mostly 3rd as far as I can remember…and Trails, I just wanna write in 3rd POV.

Oh, one last thing. I know there was another reader on FF.net that asked me a question, and I dunno if you're here, but…it's about why I chose to give Jin/Aaron such a large harem.

And my answer to that is: Two parts, actually.

1. Because I can, no other reason.

2. To practice how many romances I can write about, and what kind of scenarios and reasons for each girl to like him, as I mentioned before, a lot of time passes in his [Pocket Dimension], so I'll touch upon those interactions in future DX chapters. To flesh out the reasons for those girls to like him.

So, a personal challenge for myself, that's it, really.

But yeah, that's what I wanted to tell you guys here. Winds of Change is coming to an end, and I have other ideas in the works. Thank you so far for the support, not just here, but to all the other sites too.

Oh right! I updated the Auxiliary chapters! There are newer ones now and I delete others and completely changed the "Status" page, to just a character page, it's full of spoilers too. I probably missed some characters, so if you notice, just comment and I'll add them.
