The Journey begins

Jimmy could feel his body becoming stiff as he struggled violently to move his muscles. However, the more he tried, the more stiff he would become. Soon he could not move at all. Jimmy also noticed his vision was fading away. The colourful scenery of the gaming world was fading away relentlessly and was being replaced by a white light. A very bright white light! Soon everything turned white and Jimmy couldn't open his eyes because of the immense brightness. What was happening? Were all participants experiencing the same thing?

"Attention all participants! Welcome to the WOLWizard Tournament!", suddenly a loud voice called out and out of nowhere, an old man appeared infront of the participants. He was floating in mid air and looked extremely old, his hair and beard were long and white.

"Don't worry. This whiteness you are experiencing is nothing but a revelation. From time to time, you will be experiencing these revelations. These are like the videos which you can't skip in the game. These will guide you to your next quest and objective and built the story"

Jimmy listened carefully as he allowed himself to panic less

"The WOL Map consists of three kingdoms. The treasure is in the third island. To pass each kingdom you must have some special abilities. Remember, every kingdom has its own boss. To advance to the next kingdom you must defeat the boss. Your journey begins in the Green Kingdom. Good luck participants!

With that being said, the old man raised in air and disappeared

Jimmy could suddenly feel his body and now move his hands. However he was now in a free fall! he suddenly found himself in thin air, falling freely, with his velocity increasing every second. Jimmy quickly braced himself

'Bump'

Jimmy landed straight on his head. He was surprised he suffered no injuries. He finally realised it was all part of the game! The revelations, and other unusual things will continue to happen from time to time. He must get used to it now. As he landed, Jimmy suddenly realised he had entered the green empire!

Jimmy slapped his clothes to remove the dirt from them. When he finally raised his head, he was stunned! The Green Empire was indeed beautiful! The entire ground was covered with lush green grass. The trees and flowers were as fresh as ever. Jimmy could also see numerous waterfalls and beautiful rocks decorated within every few hundred meters. The sky was as blue as ever. The sun was neither too hot nor too cold. It was truly a heaven on earth!

However, Jimmy suddenly came back to his senses. This was a game! He must quickly complete his objective. He must find the treasure as soon as possible! Jimmy looked around to see if the other participants were perplexed and excited just like him. But wait, he could no longer see the other 4 participants! Damn, they must have been placed in different locations within the Green Empire. Jimmy tied his shoelace as he got ready for a quest. The tournament had begun!

It had been 3 hours since Jimmy was wandering alone in the hills. This Empire was so large! The lush green grass and waterfalls were suffocating him now! He wanted to see people to interact with!

"How stupid it is that the game haven't even told us what the treasure is! It could be a shoe, chest, sword literally anything in the world!", thought Jimmy. He was really frustruated by now. How is he gonna locate the treasure?

Jimmy sat down due to tiredness. It had been almost 3 hours and he had made no progress in the game. Other participants must have definitely gotten somewhere by now!

Just as he was lost in his thoughts, Jimmy suddenly heard some voices behind a rock a few hundred meters away.

People! Finally Jimmy could at least interrogate them. They must know something about this land!

As he approached the voices, Jimmy was stunned. It was some people shouting madly. Slowly, Jimmy peaked from the rock and as he saw the scene in front of him, he was stunned. An old man was being beaten helplessly by a group of young boys. The boys were in their twenties and the man was very old. His skin was wrinkled and he was pleading to the boys to let him go. "Shut up old man!", said one of the boys. "Give us whatever you have or we will kill you!"

Jimmy was witnessing the scene from some distance. He felt like a thousand knives had pierced his heart at once. How can anyone be so merciless? These boys must be taught a lesson! Jimmy could hold it no longer. He was an expert in this game after all. His abilities were famous all around the world! If he doesn't teach these boys a lesson today, he could never forgive himself

"Leave the man alone or you are all dead!", shouted Jimmy angrily as he appeared infront of the boys. He could feel his anger burning inside him. However Jimmy soon realised these boys were no ordinary people. Damn, they were max level cultivators! Jimmy did not stand a chance against these people.

"Kid. Since you are new here, we will give you an opportunity run as far away as you can. Otherwise don't blame us for the consequences.", Said one of the boys. He had a murderous aura

Jimmy could hold it no longer. He had been grinding in this game for 15 years. He will never retreat! Immediately he twisted his hands and brought them closer. A large fireball started forming in his hand. It was his famous fireball technique! Jimmy could feel the immense energy forming in his hand as he released his hands and threw the fireball at the boys. "Let's see what have they got.", thought Jimmy. Can they block it?

Jimmy stood triumphantly as he watched the fireball getting closer to the boys. It would definitely scare them!

Meanwhile the boys stood there relaxed. They waited for the fireball to come. The fireball hit them with full force. However, the boys did not get even a scratch!

What? How was this possible? How are the boys able to withstand such a powerful attack?

"How can my fireball technique fail in such a way?", thought Jimmy. He was perplexed. However, he was a high lvl player. He cannot give up so easily! Immediately he started motioning his hands to perform another technique. This would definitely scare them!

However before he could perform his technique, one of the boys just simply clapped his hands. As soon as the boy clapped, Jimmy could feel irresistible pain in his body. The pain was unbearable! Jimmy could no longer stand, as he fell to the ground, out cold
