Leslie and Calix only fooled around a little in the washroom because both still remembered Calliope waiting for them at the villa. It was only for one night but, they dearly missed their daughter.
Before Calix and Leslie stepped out of the quaint wooden hut, the former received a message from Aunt Wendy, stating the little dumpling had woken up.
"I miss our child," Calix looked up from the phone to Leslie, a helpless smile carving on his lips, "I will hug her tight."
This kind of longing differed from the one Calix experienced during his trip to Zurich.
Calliope was their child. The daughter, of when he was still Axel Liu, who he didn't know existed until now.
The fragments revealed in the dreamscape were still perfectly clear in his mind. They showed the happy and sad days the mother and daughter experienced as they navigated life together.
