Three days passed and Blake was happy he could bring Marissa back home. But his happiness was disturbed by the police officers who came to visit Marissa for her statement.
"Sir…" Blake paused, he walked closer to them and half whispered, "I told you that she can't give a statement."
"But Mr. Blake…" The officer didn't want to do this too, but procedure is a procedure. "We needed her statement to bring this case to court. Even though he did confess, he could change his mind whenever he wanted. So Mr. Blake, we really need your cooperation in this." The officer tried to explain their side.
"I understand, but as I told you, she lost her memories." He leaned closer to make sure Marissa didn't hear them.
"Can we try first?" The officer insisted.
"Sir…" Marissa suddenly spoke up. "I will try to help…"
Blake instantly turned and frowned, "How can you help, you don't even remember anything."
