Will there be a happy ending?

Hidayah Loh is the heiress of the ARK Empire and next in line to be the Matriarch of Country C’s strongest founding family. Basically a royal of Country C. On her business trip in City K of Country M, she was nearly raped by a stranger when Nazreen rescued her. Nazreen, a prince from Country E was on holiday and happened to hear a struggled plea for help from the adjacent hotel room when he was returning back to his room. But to their dismay, City K’s Islamic Religious Department happened to be in the middle of carrying their night raids in that hotel. Both Hidayah and Nazreen was brought to the station and to avoid imprisonment and other negative implications that may affect their reputation, they were forced to marry that very night. Not keen on keeping the marriage to a total stranger, despite him being her rescuer, Hidayah returned to Country C quietly the next day. Leaving Nazreen with a signed post-dated divorce document at the hotel reception. After being forced to marry the woman he saved, he tasked his men to investigate Hidayah. Unfortunately, the next morning, he found that Hidayah had checked out from the hotel and had left him with a divorce agreement. What is he to do? Should he just process the divorce as per Hidayah’s request? Or should he find her to ‘save’ their ‘unexpected’ marriage? ********************************* Author’s note (A/N): The story is written with people from different ethnic, cultural and religious beliefs. Killing Her

"Do you think the guys will be able to hold him back?" Hidayah asked with her eyes closed. Erika hugged her tighter. No one in the room could answer her question as they were still shocked by Hidayat's outburst. In the years of their friendship, they have never seen Hidayat so worked up before.

"Leo… Please send me the details. I will look into the matter," Hidayah spoke in a low voice. Erika glance towards the tall and suave man who was still leaning on the window, like Apollo looking out towards the horizon.

At the same time, Leoneil also turned his head towards the ladies. Their eyes met and Erika quickly turned her gaze away, her face turning red. Acting as if nothing had happened, Leoneil took out his iPad and turned it on, extracting all the information Hidayah requested.

"Give me a moment. I'm sending you the details to our cloud drive." Hidayah looked up and gave Leoneil a smile.

"Thank you, Leo. Guys, it's already late… go home. I am fine here," she then looked at Erika's red face and her eyes glint. Someone is getting hot in here…

"Alright… you rest well too, okay?" Hidayah gave Erika a firm hug and winked towards Leoneil. Leoneil saw her but his face, stoic as ever… LOL, you can pretend to ignore me all you want… I'm gonna grill you later tonight… haha "Erika, did you drive today?"

"Nope. Too lazy. I will grab a cab home from here"

"Why don't Leo send you home then? It's actually on his way. Right, Leo?"

"Yeah. I can send you home if you don't mind," Leoneil answered. Hidayah's mouth twitched. Do you think I wouldn't know that you like my best friend? I wonder how long will he take to confess to her… Or would she be the one to confess first???

Next morning

After multiple test and reviews, the doctors felt that Hidayah's condition was stable enough to be moved out of the Intensive Care Unit. For Hidayah, this was great news! Being in the Intensive Care Unit has so many limitations and she did not have much freedom. She couldn't wait to be transferred to the normal ward.

The 2 hours waiting before the transfer was already killing her. Unfortunately, both her parents and Hidayat could not come in the morning. To make it worse, her tablet was drained out of battery. So she was bored staring into nothingness.

After lunch, when she saw the nurse coming in with a wheelchair, she was so excited she accidentally squealed, "please tell me you're gonna transfer me to the ward now!" The nurse grinned at her furore.

"Yes, Ms Loh. We will be transferring you now," the lady replied.

"YES! FINALLY!" Not being able to hold her laughter any more, the nurse laughed at Hidayah's reaction.

After making sure that the IV was disconnected from the regulator, the nurse assisted Hidayah off the bed, onto the wheelchair and pushed her out to her new room in the VVIP ward.
