Protection

That afternoon Lucian came back with Meg and Ruby. Mom was getting ready for work but stopped to find out what was up. Lucian simply say," Mom and grandma are going to ward the house for protection but physical and audio. You don't have to worry, it will be attuned to the people in the house only. But the will need to prick you finger, I'm sorry it's a blood binding spell."

Mom looks back and forth for a minute then says," Okay I can handle that. Do you have something or should I get it?"

"No I have a dagger here, I promise not to much blood. Can I see you finger Amber? Good just a small poke. Now Hannah your finger please. Good girl just a little bit. Lucian your next. Mom your next. And finally me. Now give me a few minutes and the house will be warded. Then Lucian can tell you what's going on."

Ruby went over to the counter and began the spell. Mom looked at us but Lucian shook his head. She waited till Ruby was finished. After Ruby and Meg left Lucian turned to mom and told her everything.

He told her last night his father showed up here and demanded he gets what is his, so Lucian had them put up the shields and protection spells. He promised he would keep me safe and her as well. She told him she trusted him, but she wanted him to stay with me while she was at work. Since I was already pregnant she didn't see the harm in it. Then she left for the night. We sat on the couch for a while talking, then he made me dinner. We both washed the dishes. Then we watched t.v. for a while. I couldn't take it anymore I had to get him upstairs.

After making love for a few hours Lucian hears my stomach rumbling. He laughs for a minute then asks," Did you get jerky or shall I go cook you a steak?"

I smile at him and ask," Can't we do both? I can snack on Jerky while you cook for me. And I need to ask you mom if the meat cravings normally start this soon? Steak and sex is all I can think about."

"Then ask her now. She said to text if you have any questions. Would you like me to ask her for you?"

"Would you please? I'm sorry I'm a chicken, but I can't do it."

"It's okay that's what I'm here for, How about you type out the question and I will send it. We can send it from my phone, if that will make you feel better."

So he hands me his phone, and while he starts cooking I ask me questions. His mom answers quickly, she says it's normal but a little early and she wants to check me out tomorrow. I tell her okay and ask when a good time to drop by would be. We end up agreeing on one in the afternoon. Lucian agrees to pick her up and bring her here. Then he hands me a thick juicy steak with a baked potato. I sit down and devour everything. it was amazing, after we clean up we go back upstairs.

First we take a shower, then we both climb into bed. I try to get him interested in sex again, but he turns me down and tells me I need to sleep. I can't keep wearing myself out with sex.

I am tied so I agree to sleep, but only if he holds me. He puts his arms around me and I am asleep within minutes.
