Into The Darkness

I was going home after playing DnD for hours at Mike's place. Didn't finish so well, the Demorgorgon got me.

My home is far from the others and so I have to pass through a dark forest path before getting there.

I have always hated riding there alone at night, the darkness is creepy. So I was riding as fast as I could.

Suddenly, the light on my bike starts flashing. Goosebumps started forming on my skin. My heart started beating rapidly as I could sense there was someone nearby, someone dangerous.

I pedaled as hard as I could but in a split second a tall dark humanoid figure, with unproportional body size appeared in front me.

Then it disappeared as fast as it appeared. suddenly I felt as if I was in Elm Street.

I swerved my bike into the forest and pedaled hard but unfortunately, it's wheel hit a branch and sent me flying. I abandoned the bike and escaped on foot.

I ran as quickly as my legs could allow me, all the while wet low branches slapped me in the face mercilessly. But that didn't make me slow down.

Lucky for me, I was already near our home. The house came into sight. I ran into the house screaming for help. I called out for mom and Jonathan a few times before realizing I was home alone.

I quickly locked the door and closed the curtain. I then peeped out the window and saw a figure flash among the hanging clothes sending shivers down my spine.

I tried calling for help but the phone won't work, I was panicking very hard.

Lights flickered and flashed in throbbing manner and the lock slowly opened itself.

I ran out of the house into the shed because that's where my dad's old shotgun is. I wondered what the hell was chasing me.

In the shed, I quickly grabbed the gun, cocked it and pointed it shakily at the door.

I thought I was going to die for sure.

Then the light started to get brighter and brighter. I have never seen a bulb so bright before!

The light temporarily blinded me and before I could adjust to the new brightness I felt large, wet claws digged into my clothes and was yanked throwing the wind out of me.

The next thing I know I was being dragged into the forest at such high speed that my vision became blurry. And I passed out.
