Devon smiled as she slowly drew away from him, resting her hand on his hip while she raised her head to face him.
"Welcome back," she greeted with a bright smile. "Have you eaten?"
Lewis blinked his eyes as he stared at her lovingly. How could he not fall for her? He felt like a family man returning home with his sweet wife welcoming him warmly, and his fatigue all gone.
"No." He shook his head lightly. "I came straight from my meeting. Have you had dinner?"
"I was waiting for you." Well, Devon wasn't lying when she said she was waiting for him, as she refused Dion's invitation to dinner because of this. "Mrs. Agnes already prepared something. Do you want me to heat it up?"
"Mhm, sure." Lewis nodded and smiled at her, stroking her hair gently,
"Alright!" Devon exclaimed before she hastily broke away from him to reheat the food Agnes made before she clocked out.
