04| The Party pt.2

Addison's POV:

I wake up in a bed with people staring at me. I force my eyes open and I see Ashton sitting on a chair staring at me with one eye while holding an ice pack to his other, Ryder getting bandaged by...James and also holding an ice pack, Mads and Sab staring at me, and I spot a figure at the doorway. I squinted and saw the figure was Tyler. I attempt to sit up but had no success except for falling back down to the bed.

"OH MY GOD! ADDISON YOUR AWAKE! I THOUGHT YOU WERE IN COMA AND HAD TO BE IN THE HOSPITAL!" shrieked Madeline. Jeez, my ears. I think I might've said that aloud. Oh wait they nodded, I said those things aloud! Phew not anymore.

"Where am I? And what happened?" I manage to get the words out of my mouth. They stare at me. "What? Just tell me." I grumbled.

"Uh well, your in a guest room in Tyler's house. Everyone else is downstairs partying... You found Ashton, Ryder, and Tyler fighting and stopp between them and collapsed on the floor causing them to apologize to each other and to you and stop fighting." Madeline hestitated to tell me. My gaze falls on Ashton and Ryder remembering some things before I blacked out. I turned my gaze to a glare.

"And then we checked you to find any fractured or broken parts but we just found a bruise on your side. Then we carried you up to the guest room and waited for you to get up." Sabrina continued. I felt better since I was given an ice pack for my side. I managed to sit up properly.

"What a way to start out the first day of school and a first highschool party." I say sarcasticly. I turn to the idiots with a slight smirk, "You idiots aren't getting away with this. Hmm lets see no parties, head straight home from school, do chores for 2 weeks. Besides, we still haven't finished our earlier conversation." I spot them look at each other with wide eyes. I laugh.

"Well, you two seem fine. I'm gonna go help Tyler." I announce and walk towards the doorway. I feel a hand on me, I turn around. "What now?" I ask.

I sense Ryder take a deep breath, "Don't."

"Excuse me?! Don't?! Your a complete idiotic person. You got treatment and cared for now I'm gonna do the same to Tyler who didn't receive what you, my brother, and I got." I fume. "AND NO ONE IS GONNA STOP ME!" I scream the last words before I walk to Tyler.

"Hey, you ok?" I lower my voice. I scan his body; scars, bruises, wounds.

"I'm ok. You should go." He lets the words slip past his lips. I shook my head.

"No, I'm staying here and helping you. Your hurt. C'mon." I help him up and into his bedroom bathroom. I search through the drawers and find the first aid kit. "This is gonna hurt, but its for the best ok?" I tell him. I take some achlohol swabs and dab his wounds. He flinches. I finish up on him and help him down.

"Thanks Addi." He says gratefully but it comes out as a whisper. I look at him and hug him.

"No problem. Now, I'm ending the party. You need to rest and recover." I note. He hesitates before he agreed. "Go shower and get into bed, I'll come up later and check on you and leave some water and Advil on your nightstand for tomorrow's headache." I assure him. He nods and I close the door behind me as I leave and get the help from James, Mads, and Sab to round up all the party guests and get them to leave.

"James, mind if you take Madeline and Sabrina home? I'm taking these two dimwits home and coming back here." I ask. Thankfully James was helpful and agreed to drop off the two drunk girls and return home. I clean up Tyler's place for about an hour before things where clean. Phew, that was hard work. Time to go fetch the boys.

"ASHTON! RYDER! COME DOWNSTAIRS!" I order. Few seconds later, the two were proceeding down the stairs.

"You cleaned up and got the people to leave?" Ashton managed to ask. I nodded proud of myself.

"Get in the car right now. I'm driving the two of you home. Home as in your own houses. You two are both drunk and injured so no arguing." I continue. They hang their heads down and follow me into Ashton's car. I drove home and dropped Ashton off and walked Ryder over to his place.

"About the unfinished conversation, I'm sorry we didn't fulfill what we said we would do in the morning and we didn't notify you about anything. I guess we got carried away." Ryder confesses. I'm glad he said that but continue. I motion for him to go on. "And I'm sorry your brother and I got drunk and beat up Tyler." He mumbles. I lift his head up by the chin with my finger and stare into his eyes.

"It's fine, but this doesn't mean your off the hook immediately. You have to live up to what you did. I'm glad you apologized, but your drunk and your parents are on the way home. I'll take you inside and leave a water bottle with Advil on your nightstand." I praise. He nods and we walk inside his house and up the steps to his room. "Go shower and stuff I'll go get the things for your headache." I instruct. I watch him disappear into the bathroom. I sigh and grab the water and Advil and leave it on his nightstand and shut the door behind me. I walk downstairs to find Mom dropping off Lilac.

"Hey sweetie, what are you doing here?" My mom asks me as I walked down the steps.

"Hey mom! I was dropping off Ryder from a party. I dropped off Ashton too. They beat up the host of the party, Tyler King, so I'm heading back there and helping him with his injuries." I whisper the last part. She nods. "By the way, the two aren't allowed to go to parties, spend time with each other unless its for homework, get drunk. Ashton will have to contribute to chores and finish all his homework and not skip class." I inform Mom. She stares at me.

"Ok sunshine. He does need to focus on school. Can you take Lilac up to her room before you head back to Tyler's place? I'm going to cook dinner and meet up with the Thompsons at a diner in a little while. Your in charge for all the kids including Ryder and Ashton." My mom fusses. I nod and she thanks me.

"Lilac! How was your day little one?" I coo and get down to her level. She smiles brightly at me.

"It was good! can we watch a mwovie?" She asks politely. I laugh.

"Of course. Now lets get you cleaned up and in your pjs." I say. We hurry up the steps and I help Lilac get cleaned up and into her pjs. "I'll be right back ok Lilac? I'm going to check on your brother to make sure he doesn't fall down the steps." I chuckle. She nods and I go over and turn on her TV and put on Netflix before I shut her door and walk down the hall to Ryder's room. I knock.

"Come in." I hear him mumble. I walk in and fine him watching Netflix in his bed. I can tell the headaches hitting him and the wounds and bruises hurt. I walk over to him and sit down on his bed. He pauses the movie and turns to me. "Why do you care for me even though I beat up Tyler?" He whispers.

I stare at him in shock. "Ryder it's because I consider you as a close friend and I care for you. You should get a nap right now. I'm headed to Tyler's place to check up on him and heading back here." I say softly. I hug him and at first he was stiff, unsure what to do, but he hugs back. I close the door, walk down the steps, pick up some things and get in my Jeep and drive to Tyler's. I open the door and head up to his room. I knock and here a come in.

"Hey King, how are you feeling? Any better?" I say and sit down. He nods.

"I'm feeling better but my head is pounding." He groans.

"Ok then overall your better. SInce you haven't had dinner, I'm going down to your kitchen and cooking you some things. How does some soup with a side of garlic knots and some fruits sound?" I ask. He looks up at me.

"Wonderful. Thanks Addison." He managed to say. I nod and go downstairs into the kitchen. I make some chicken and corn soup and order some garlic knots on the Doordash app and vut up some fruits. I hear the doorbell ring and thank the delivery man and close the door and put the garlic knots in a bowl and find a moving table thing that is used for breakfast in bed things. I put everything onto the table and walk upstairs carefully.

"TYLER! OPEN THE DOOR PLEASE!" I holler as I get closer to his door. He opens it. I walk in and he gets back in bed as I place the table thing with his food onto his bed.

"Thanks so much!" I hear him say while he digged into the garlic knots.

"No problem. Now I'm sure your able to take these things down and put it into the dishwasher." I say. He looks up from his food at me.

"The elevator? Your leaving?" He says sadly.

"Sadly yes because I have to go back and look after my brother, Ryder, and Ryder's younger sister since out parents are having dinner together at a diner." I reply. He nods in understanding and I leave his house and drive back to my house.

"Mom, Dad?" I say as I open the door. I didn't see them, but found Ashton walking down the steps.

"They had to leave earlier than they expected and couldn't make dinner. They told me to tell you." He says. I take my phone out.

"How does chicken noodle soup and Papa John's or California Pizza Kitchen sound?" I ask while scrolling through Postmates, Ubereats, and Doordash. I texted Ryder that too.

"Chicken noodle soup and California Pizza Kitchen is perfectttt." Ashton says before collapsing onto the beanbag seat and snoring. Ok then.

Me: Ok, Ryder your staying in bed, Lilac and I are going to watch movies.

Ryder 🤪🤡: yay

Me: haha ill be dropping off the food for you

Ryder 🤪🤡: ok

Ryder 🤪🤡: im feeling better

Me: ok thats good

Ryder 🤪🤡: 🤗

I look up and see Ashton still sleeping. I order a kids pizza and a medium pizza with a kids mac&cheese as well. I walk over to the kitchen and finish making the soup in time that the food arrived. I wake up Ashton and give him his portion of pizza and chicken noodle soup and some fruits. I change out my clothes into some pjs after I took a quick shower before heading over to Ryder's place.

I walk up the steps and give Ryder his food and walk to Lilac's room.

"Lilac? Addi's here!" I chirped. I mentally laughed at myself. I open her door when I don't hear an answer. Suddenly I feel small hands tapping me. "AHHHHHH!" I scream. I hear Lilac giggle.

We spent the night watching movies until Lilac fell asleep and I cleaned up the mess and headed home and took a quick shower. I layed on my bed and the world closed before me as I opened myself up into another world.

Hey guys! I'm sorry for not updating for a while. I got busy with my prep homework and carried away with movies tehe. So what do you think of this chapter?

Ashton and Ryder got drunk and beat up the host of the party they went to, Tyler King. They still haven't told her why they did it in the first place. Do you think it was just because they were drunk or did it have to do with what James had told her or was it just a mishearing (is that even a word? 🤣)
