On the fifth day of Jaylene's hospital stay, she finally received the doctor's approval to get out of bed and walk.
"Oh my gosh, if I didn't get out of bed, I almost thought I had become comatose." Jaylene exclaimed excitedly after getting out of bed: "Ah, it feels so good to step on the floor, so solid."
Everyone laughed, and the doctor smiled at Joseph Thompson and said, "She can't take any more rough treatment. Although she's now 34 weeks along, to ensure the baby doesn't end up in an incubator, she still needs to be careful for the next three weeks. Once past thirty-seven weeks, it's considered full-term pregnancy."
"Okay, I got it," Joseph Thompson nodded repeatedly: "We're being very careful with her diet now, and aside from the nurse, we don't allow strangers to enter the ward. We've also laid carpets on the Ground Level and non-slip carpet in the restroom; there shouldn't be any accidents."
