At the Meeting Hall

There are atleast one Council Member for each of the Races.

The Council Members are seated in the top seat while the leaders of each Species are standing in front of them.

"Is everyone already here?" The Vampire Elder asked.

"Not yet. There is still someone missing." The Demon Elder answered.

Ｅｌｄｅｒ Ｘｕi

"Elder Xui I hear that your Kingdom's Snake King will attend today." Elder Chang, the Vampire Council Member said.

This will be the first time My Lord will attend a meeting.

The Leaders of the Races started to whisper.

"Yes, she will attend." I answered calmly. Elder Chang nodded.

"What, the Snake King will attend?"

"I don't believe it."

"I hear that the Snake King is a girl."

"I hear she likes innocent girls."

"There are rumors too about that she loves to dominate boys and girls."

"That's freaky."

The second to the last statement made me laugh.

If they only knew, that's not only the things she could do.

Then the big door opened, walking in is a girl with silver mask and a dominant aura.

I quickly left my seat and kneeled at her feet.

"Your Majesty, we've been waiting for you." I greeted while kneeling.

"Get up." She commanded. I did as I was told.

"Your Majesty?"

"No. Way."

"She's so young."

"Beautiful."

"Fellow Elders and Leaders, this is Your Majesty Snahhan, the Snake King." I introduced My Lord to the other Council Members and to the Leaders.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Your Majesty."

"How do you do, Your Majesty?"

It's an honor."

"We are glad to be in your presence."

She nodded towards the greetings and the meeting started.

"You are all gathered here because we have an important announcement." The Werewolf Elder Shi said loudly.

"The scientists recently discovered a new specie in the Dark World." Elder Chang said.

"Really?"

"Do we have to fight for our territory?"

"That's cool."

"That must be an alien."

"Idiot, alien my ass."

"I'm just saying, no need to get angry."

"Don't worry. We only found one person." Elder Chang assured.

I turn to look at His Majesty, only to see her look back at me expressionless.

"He is lying." She mouthed. She must have already sensed that Elder Chang is lying.

Snakes have powerful, effective and predatory senses. We can track our prey from miles away. Also, we can smell the emotions of those around us, but we have one weakness it's.....

"Silver. The unknown specie we found can produce and control silver." Elder Shi answered the Alpha who asked the power of the being the found.

I froze. Silver..... suddenly, His Majesty mind link me.

Then Elder Chang dismissed the meeting.

Today's been a hectic day.

I can't help but think about what His Majesty said a few hours ago.

How can I betray her when I promised her father that I will protect her before his disappearance.

I did sworn that I will treat her as my own daughter and never let her get hurt.

But, thinking about what happened. It seems that I failed. But not this time around.

The Council are planning something bad. I should be planning about what I will do next, but here I am teasing Elder Xui.

I know, he will never betray me. It's just so fun to see him panic that much.

I stopped walking and turned to the sky, closing my eyes to feel the wind in my face. The wind is cold tonight. I suddenly thought about Dad.

Dad, wherever you are, I hope you're doing okay. I will find you soon.

"Meow." I hear a tiny sound and opened my eyes to see a kitten looking at me curiously.

The kitten is colored midnight black with strikes of blue and with different colored eyes. One is gray and the other is violet.

"Do you have a home." Asking the little kitten.

"Meow."

"No? Then do you want to come with me?" I asked while kneeling to let the kitten sniff my fingers.

"Meow." The kitten jumped to my chest and purred.

"I'll take that as a yes." I laughed at the kitten's cuteness.

"Then lets go home." I added and we hurry back to the mansion.

"Meow."

"Ju Lan, are you okay?" My Mom asked, concerned.

"Yes Mom." I tried to talk normally at her, to show nothing is okay.
