Why should they be trusted?

Parker packed the last of his belongings in his duffle bag, after training for months to be in the army he finally got accepted, His Sergeant was a tall black man with a scar on his left eye, His eyes or one eye, was a flaring brown colour they were soft and looked like they were ment to fit on a good person, but if you knew sergeant gray you would be impressed that he could force so much in so little time, Parker had no time to adjust to his new home with his fellow soldiers he unpacked while throwing his things onto his bunk after claiming it of course, The others didn't like their things being touched for example there was this guy name Paris he had nothing except this picture of him and his daughter and what appeared to be his wife, Parker didn't want to ask questions about the weird actions and activities they would contribute to, In Parkers duffel bag the had a blanket and extra clothes, After all many things were banned such as : jewellery, weaponery and things like that, Of course the army did keep weapons on them, they were not allowed in sleeping corners, Parker shared a bunk with this guy named Lovell, He wasn't as nice as his name lead him out to be though, He was a rough guy covered in battle wounds and he looked like a panda because of his bags under his eyes.
