WE'RE ALWAYS TOGETHER

When Veer asked me whether I forgave him or not, I nodded my head as no. I then said, "Veer why should I forgive you, when you've also suffered equally. Infact I should be the one asking sorry on behalf of my mother. I'm sorry Veer, without knowing your side of story I blamed you unncessarily." He put his hand on my mouth stopping me from saying further and he said, "No Misti, please don't speak like this."

But I removed his hand from my mouth and said, "No Veer, let me speak. On my wedding day, when papa told me about this, I didn't understand anything. I was very confused, nothing made sense for me. I was very at you for not telling me. Though one part of my mind said that you cannot leave me like that, but then I also know that you'd do anything for my happiness. I was angry that you took decision for me and decided who would stay in my life and who wouldn't. I was angry because, you cannot decide where my happiness lies. I was angry because, you left me without telling me. I was angry because, you left me for Nikhil despite telling you so many times that you're also equally important to me. I was angry for lot more reasons and I didn't see anything else. But today I came to know, how wrong I was. Had you not come today, then I don't know how long I would have blamed you for no mistake of yours. I'm sorry Veer. I'm really sorry for not understanding you." He said, "It's okay Misti, let's forget it and move on" I then saw my finger prints on his cheek. I realized that I've slapped him unnecessarily. I immediately cupped his cheek and asked, "Is it paining alot? I'm sorry Veer, I shouldn't have slapped you."

He said, "It's okay Misti, I'll not say that it's not paining. But I'll be okay." I hugged him and said, "I'm sorry Veer." He said, "Misti if you're not going to stop saying sorry, then I'll go back to India."

I broke the hug and smiled at him and said, "Even if you want, you cannot leave me. And I know that, so try something new." He lightly hitted on my head and side-hugged me. And then I excused myself and went inside.

I came back with ice-bag and gave him. So, he'll relax a little bit. Then later I asked Annie auntie to bring him juice, becuase he didn't have coffee earlier. Then he was drinking juice, then it hit me. How did he know that I'm here. So, I asked him, "Veer, papa said that he didn't say you my details, then how did you know that I'm here."

He replied, "When uncle refused me of telling your details, I didn't know what to do. I wanted to meet you and be with you, because I know it'll be hard for you to deal with. So, I hired a detective and got your details. Then immediately, I flew here."

I told him everything that happened after coming here. I told him about Anshu and Emma, also about Arjun. I said him, how he behaves with me. He laughed hearing my complaints, just like papa. Then when I told him, what he said to papa, he wasn't shocked. He behaved as if it's nothing, when I asked him, he said, "Some of them are like that only. They don't appreciate but deep down they know everyone's capabilities. He understood your capability on the first day itself, so only he asked you to give presentation."

I said, "It's okay leave it. Why are we didcussing about him. Veer, where's your luggage?"

He replied, "It's in the hotel."

I said, "Ok, you give me the details. I'll ask Jack to bring your luggage."

He said, "No, it's okay. I'll go and get my luggage."

I said, "As you wish, but come back soon. Anshu will be here anytime."

He said, "Ok, I'll come back soon." and then he left.

I went to my room for freshening. But not before asking Annie auntie to prepare room for Veer.

Then I called Anshu, to know where she was. She said that she'll be there within 10 minutes. I went to kitchen to see what Annie auntie is doing. She was chopping vegetables, I thought of helping her, so started chopping vegetables and asked her to do some other work.

No sooner I finished chopping the vegetables and went to living room than Anshu has come. She came rushing and hugged me tightly. Then she cupped my face and asked, "How are you sweety? Did you not have your lunch? Why did you faint like that? You don't know how worried I was?"

I was feeling happy seeing her concern for me. Sometimes it makes us feel happy knowing we've someone in our life who cares for us. Seeing me smiling like an idiot, she said, "What happened to you? Why are you smiling like that?" I sighed and said, "I'm lucky to have a friend like you who cares a lot for me. That's why I'm smiling. And coming to your questions, I'm perfectly fine. I was little bit shocked seeing Veer and top to that I didn't even have lunch. So, I fainted. But now everything is fine. I also ate after coming home."

She stopped for a while and then said, "When you said Veer, you meant Rajveer Singh right?" I nodded my head. She exclaimed and hugged me tightly and then said, "Now tell me, is everything okay between you two? Does that mean both best friends are back together?"

I smiled and said, "Yes, everything is okay between us. And we've always been together. I was just angry with him for leaving me. I didn't held anything against him because I know it hurts him like hell if he's away from me." She said, "Then that calls for a celebration. Tell me when are you taking me out?" I smiled and said, "Whenever you say?"

She then said, "Now, tell me where's your friend? First I'll ask him treat." I chuckled and said, "He has gone to hotel to bring his luggage. He'll be here anytime soon."

She said, "Ok, now tell me, how was your day?" We sat there talking for a while, but still Veer has not come. I don't even have his new number, to call him and ask. When I told Anshu about Arjun, how he took care of me, even she was shocked hearing me. Then dad called me, I excused and went to answer the call.

"Hello princess, how are you?"

"I'm fine papa. How are you?"

"But I'm not good."

"What happened papa? Is everything okay?"

"Vinod has called me just now and told what has happened? Why are you being so careless? I didn't expect this from you."

"Papa Veer came here, He was standing outside my office. I was shocked seeing him and fainted. But now I'm fine papa, you don't need to get worried."

"What Veer has come there? How did he know your whereabouts?"

"You won't believe papa, he hired a detective for my whereabouts."

"I'm not shocked. I knew he'll do something, because he just can't sit peacefully when you're not with him. And above all, he was very worried for you."

"Yes, that's true. But there's so much more to what we know."

I told him what Veer has said me in the evening. Even he was very shocked hearing me. He felt bad for Veer, and even he was sorry on behalf of my mother. I also told him about Anshu, how concerned she was for me. Dad is very thankful to them for taking good care of mine. We spoke for a while and then had to cut the call because Dad has got some important work to do.

When I went back to living room, I saw Anshu standing still. I moved further to see what's happening. Veer has just come and Anshu was staring at him. Even Veer was just looking at her. Both are lost in each other. I think something is brewing between them. I stood in between them and snapped my fingers in front of Veer's eyes.

Both realized what has happened, and looked away. Then Jack came from behind, with Veer's luggage. I asked Jack to keep it in Veer's room. Then I introduced both Veer and Anshu to each other. Anshu who cannot sit silent even for a second became mute seeing Veer. Then Annie auntie called us for Dinner. We all went to dining hall and sat down. Anshu sat beside me and Veer sat opposite to me. Annie auntie made palak paneer and rajma chawal for us. I asked her to make it, as it's Veer's favorite. But what I didn't know was, it's even Anshu's favorite too. She was so happy, and her face got lit like a kid who got his cotton candy. When I asked her, she said that it's her favorite food. Then, we continued having our food while talking to each other.
