SHOCKING REVELATIONS

It's been two weeks since Veer joined his new hospital. Tomorrow is Anshu's birthday, so Arjun and I decided to go to Veer's hospital in the Lunch and meet him to make plans for her birthday. It's her first birthday with us, so we want to make it special for her. We didn't inform Veer that we're coming. Arjun has gone to the parking lot to bring his car and I'm waiting for him.

We're standing outside his cabin. That door is slightly open, I saw Anshu inside talking to him seriously. I wonder what she's doing here at this time. I decided to hear what they're talking and gestured Arjun to wait and listen. I heard Anshu saying, "Veer I know that it's been hardly a month since we met and you may feel it too early. But I've realized that you are the one for me. From the moment we met, I felt some strong connection with you. And I don't want to tag it as friendship because it's not, atleast not from my side. I don't know when I've fallen for you. But I know why I've fallen for you. Your love and care for Dhrithi made me fall for you. You're a true gentleman and I know you'll be a great partner." I was shocked hearing Anshu.

Anshu loves Veer and I wasn't aware of anything. Then Veer spoke cutting off Anshu in middle, "Anshu I don't know what to say. But I'll be honest here, I've liked you the moment I saw you. Even I've a strong connection with you, I felt as if I've known you for years.But in this situation I don' know what to say. I don't want to hurt you, but I don't want to think about myself for now. First I want Misti to settle down and then only I think of myself."

Anshu replied, "Veer for now I don't want any commitments from your side. I just wanted you to know what I feel for you, because I don't want to regret later. And I don't want to loose you. I said that I've fallen seeing your care for Dhrithi, but that doesn't mean I'll come in between you two. I want to make my space in your heart and want my share of love. So, know that I'll never come in between Dhirthi and you. I'm okay even if you want time till Dhrithi find someone. Think about it and whatever might be your answer. Please let me know tomorrow."

And she started walking out, I pulled Arjun and hided behind the wall so that Anshu doesn't see us. After Anshu left, Arjun suggested that we should go out and think. We came out of the hospital and went to a nearby restaurant. I was silent all the way, Arjun ordered food for us and then I heard him saying, "Dhrithi what happened to you? Why are you so silent? It's a good news right? Anshu loves Veer. How cool isn't it?"

I said, "Yes Arjun, it's good news. I'm thinking about Veer. Even if he loves Anshu, he will not say it because of me. It's good that we heard it accidently or else we wouldn't have known about it. He would have said No to Anshu. He's such a duffer. This is the thing which scares me about that idiot. He doesn't think about his life, his whole world revolves about me. But now it's enough, I want him to find his happiness. I've to make him understand that it's time he starts thinking about his life."

Arjun said, "Yeah, you're right. You don't worry, we'll make him understand. But before anything, we should know what he feels for Anshu. You first have your lunch, after that let's talk to Veer. By that time, even he'll get a little time to think."

I replied, "Okay."

After finishing lunch, I called Veer and asked him to come to our office. Because he said that he'll be free in the afternoon. Meanwhile I thought of plan to know about Veer's feelings, because he will not say anything if I ask him directly. I said Arjun about my plan and he's okay with it.

I was working in my cabin, then Veer called me that he has come. I asked him to come directly to Arjun's cabin and I went to Arjun's cabin. We were waiting for Veer and he has come just now.

I sat on the couch in Arjun's cabin and asked Veer to sit beside me, Arjun dragged one of the chairs and sat infront of us. Veer asked, "Why did you ask me to come here? Is everything ok?"

I replied, "Everything is good. We've a good news. Vinod uncle has called me earlier and said that he found a great match for Anshu. But before that he wanted to know, if Anshu is seeing anyone. I said him that she's seeing no one. He was very happy and he asked me to convince Anshu to go on a date with him tomorrow. Isn't it great? Soon Anshu will get married. I called you here to discuss how to convince Anshu."

He replied, "How can we convince her to go on a date. It should be her decision right. She might like someone else."

I replied, "If she likes anyone she would have told me. She didn't mention anyone, that clearly means she doesn't like anyone. What's wrong in this?"

He replied irritatingly, "This whole idea is stupid and don't involve me in this." He was about to get up, but I caught his hand and stopped him. He turned towards me and I said, "Sit down Veer"

After he sat down, I said, "What did you decide to tell Anshu tomorrow?" He was shocked hearing my question. He said, "Misti, I'm not getting what you're talking about?" I said, "Veer don't try to act oversmart because you know, you can't lie to me"

He stopped for a second and said, "I've decided to tell her that I need time."

Then Arjun asked, "Do you love her?"
