DREAM PROPOSAL

Veer didn't say anything about his surprise, he left just like that saying, "You both make sure to come to Anshu's house by 11.45. And I'll do send you the outfits, do wear them and come. Lastly I hope you both knew the meaning of surprise and you'll not tell anything to Anshu." He didn't wait for our reply and started going out. I shouted, "And what if will tell Anshu?" But he didn't care to answer.

I was very annoyed by Veer's behaviour, he very well knows that I can't wait. But still I'm happy for him and also for Anshu too. The way Veer is putting efforts to make her happy and feel special, I'm sure he really loves her. Also they will look great together. Even Arjun is also happy for them.

And one part of my heart is feeling bad, because I was drowned and surrounded with my pain, my life, I didn't observe their budding feelings for each other. I'm a very bad friend, whenever it was my turn to do something for Veer, I failed him. I feel very bad for myself. But now, no matter what I'll not let my life affect his life. I'll make sure they stay happy together and forever.

I came out of my thoughts, when I felt someone holding my hand. I saw Arjun looking at me, he said, "I know you must be blaming yourself. You must be thinking that you're a bad friend and you failed Veer. But that's not true, don't blame yourself for no mistake of yours. You didn't know about Nikhil's conspiracy during your wedding, you didn't know about his feelings. Because he himself didn't know about his feelings. He never thought of it, but now everything is fine. Don't worry, everything will be fine."

I said, "But Arjun he did so much for me and whenever it was my turn to do something for him, I failed. How can I be so selfish?" He replied, "Tell me onething? Do you want to do something for him, just because he did so much for you. You want return his favor?"

I said, "No, it's not like that. I don't want to return any favor, because he hasn't done any favor to me. Whatever he has done for me, he has done it because of our friendship." He said, "When you know that he hasn't done any favor, then why are you blaming yourself. He has done his job when his time came, and now it was your time, you made him realize his mistake and his love. Now everything is fine, then why are you thinking of the past. Now what we have to think is guess what our stupid friend is going to do to impress his lady."

I smiled and said, "Yes, you're right. This idiot has never done anything to impress a girl. He never did anything even on my birthdays. I wonder what he'll do this time for Anshu. Let's just wait and see."

After that we spoke about other things and then about office, new projects. After an hour we received two parcels, Veer has sent them for us. We immediately opened them, I saw a beautiful light blue gown for me. And for Arjun he sent a tuxedo co-ordinated to my outfit.

Later I made dinner for both of us and then we ate dinner and then started getting ready to go to Anshu's house. We reached their house by 11.30. Aunty and uncle got dressed up like king and queen. Aunty wore a beautiful yellow saree and uncle wore matching kurtha pajama. They were looking very cute. The whole living room is decorated as a disney land. Then I saw Veer coming in White armani suit with red tie. He was looking very Handsome.

I said, "Veer, I never thought my stupid friend can do such beautiful things. Everything is so beautiful here. I really loved it. Thanks for doing all these things, Anshu will be very happy seeing all things. I love you and you're the best."

Veer smiled and replied, "I know." I then asked, "Veer we all got ready but what about Anshu, she must be in her PJ's and sleeping." He said, "No Misti, Anshu isn't sleeping. I have sent a make- up artist to get her ready. I have sent Anshu's outfit with her, so she'll also get ready and be here by 12."

Arjun said, "Wow Veer, you planned everything. I'm so excited to see Anshu's face after seeing all these things. But how did you get this idea?" Veer smiled and said, "Every girl wants her prince charming to propose her in a grand way. I know Anshu loves disney characters, so I thought she'll love it." Arjun smiled and said, "Superb"

Then Aunty and uncle came towards Veer and then Aunty said, "We're lucky that you came in our Anshu's life and she chose you. We couldn't bring a better boy for her. We're so happy for you both."

We spoke for a while and then it was time to bring Anshu downstairs. I said I'll go and bring her.

I went upstairs and then I blindfolded her, so that she cannot anything. She was asking me continously why I closed her eyes and where I was taking her?, but I didn't tell her anything.

We turned off all the lights in the living room, so that she cannot see anything until and unless Veer wants her to see. I brought her downstairs and made her stand in the middle of the living room but I saw no one. Then Veer signalled me to bring outside. I took her outside to the lawn. Now even I was surprised, why is he asking to bring her outside. Because all the decorations are inside. But I did silently like he said. Then suddenly he disappered and I received a text from him saying, open her eyes exactly at 12. Arjun, aunty and uncle were also waiting for the surprise now. I wonder what did he plan for Anshu
