Chapter 4 Dating Sims?

"How are you going to get her now?" Darkprincess asked while she attacked an enemy.

"I've been doing a lot of research lately and I'm sure it will work this time!" Uki yelled as he took down an enemy.

"And what kind of research is that?" Darkprincess asked as they confronted the boss.

"I've been doing playing alot of dating sims lately and one thing that they always do is go to a park." Uki said as the boss killed him

"Your research has been dating sims!" Darkprincess yelled sounding annoyed as she revived Uki and retreated. "You do know those dating sims are fake, right?"

"Haha no, those How To was fake, this is not fake." Uki proclaimed as they confronted the boss again.

"No the How To was dumb but, a dating sim is fake!" Darkprincess yelled through the mic.

"I'll tell you how the park goes after me and Lucy go there." Uki said as they finally defeated the boss.

"What if she doesn't want to go to the park?" Darkprincess asked as they got the treasure from defeating the boss.

"She won't say no, because it's an amusement park and in every dating sim they always say yes to an amusement park." Uki said as they started a new mission.

"If only you had as much faith in yourself as you do with those How To and dating sims." Darkprincess mumbled as they flew through the mission."Later."

Darkprincess logged off and then Uki logged off too.

"Maybe I should have more faith in myself but those dating sims are nothing like those a cursed How to!" Uki proclaimed as he went to bed and played the dating sim.

Beep!Beep!Beep!

"Yeah I accept that I won't beat you!" Uki yelled at his alarm clock and rushed to get ready. He ran out of his apartment and towards the train station. He caught up to Lucy as he barely got into the train on time.

"You barely made it today Uki." Lucy said sounding concerned as he sat by her."Did something happen?"

"No I just woke up later than I usually do." Uki said as he remembered why he woke up late.

"Hmm this dating sim is getting pretty interesting." Uki said to himself as he played the sim.

"In the sim he asks her to go to the park while they eat lunch. Maybe I should do that same but I think I'll do it when we're riding the train to work." Uki said to himself as he continued to play. He ended up playing the sim until three in the morning.

"Oh yeah I better ask her now." Uki said to himself as he struggled to get the words out of his mouth."Hee..y Luuucy do you wannnt toooo goo tooo theee amuseeeeemennt par..k withhhh meee?"

"Hmm I don't know, what day are you planning to go?" Lucy giggled at the way Uki had asked her.

"Oh this Sunday." Uki said as confidence over came him.

"Well I have to cook lunch for my siblings but can you wait until after lunch?" Lucy asked as she looked at him fixing her glasses.

"Oh yeah I can but do you want me to come and help you fix thier lunch." Uki said as Lucy looked shocked.

"You can cook?" Lucy asked surprised as the train stopped.

"I may not look like it but I can cook some things, at least more than the average office worker." Uki said as they walked off the train.

"Come to my house at ten and we'll start cooking for them then." Lucy commanded as they walked towards thier office building."They be happy your coming over again because they liked it the last time you came."

"Are you serious!" Uki exclaimed as he thought of all the dating sims and how he had just surpassed all the characters with those few words from Lucy.

"Yeah I'm serious." Lucy laughed as they walked into the office building."They said they loved playing with you and was hoping I would be you again soon. And I thought it was fun watching you play with them."

As soon as Uki heard this he thought to himself "I could die a happy man right now but I must not because I have a higher goal in mind and I'll get her to love me no matter how long it takes!"

"That's nice to know, next time I'll play with them longer." Uki said as he smiled from head to toe as they both sat in at thier desk.

"All right get to work you guys!"

As they worked Lucy decided to still talk about going to the amusement park and her siblings.

"Hey Uki can you talk and work?" Lucy whispered to him as they both worked.

"Oh yeah, can you?" Uki whispered back to her as they continued to work.

"What kind of amusement park is it because I've never been to one before?" Licy asked as they worked and she glanced at Uki.

Uki thought to himself that he never actually went to one either except with his buddies but they all moved away and he hadn't been to one in years. "Oh it has lots of roller coasters and games there. Oh and you can buy a lot of snacks there too." Uki said glancing at Lucy as her face lite up.

"I've never been on a roller coaster before." Lucy gushed as she stopped working."Are they scary or fun?"

"They a little of both but that's what makes they fun." Uki said surprised that no one ever took her and he stopped working and looked at Lucy who was still excited."But how come you never rode one before? Did no one take you or did you just not have time?"

"Well it's not like people wouldn't ask me but I just couldn't ever go because I had to look after my siblings who were little at that time." Lucy said still excited to go and she went back to working and talking.

"Wow these dating sims are something else because of them I know exactly what to say and when to say it!" Uki exclaimed to himself as he went back to work.

"You don't have to worry any more because Sunday we're going to ride all of the roller coasters and play all the games there!" Uki exclaimed as everybody in the office stared at him and he immediately regretted saying they would play all the games there knowing his wallet would be empty if they did.

"Really are you serious!" Lucy exclaimed in a whisper and she turned and looked at Uki.

"Yeah I'm serious." Uki mumbled knowing he was going to be broke after Sunday.

"I can hardly wait!" Lucy exclaimed in a whisper again.

"Hey you two stop talking and get to work!"

"Lets talk more about this at lunch." Uki whispered to Lucy as they went back to work.

"Alright everybody its lunch break!"

"You want to go and eat at the restaurant again?" Uki asked Lucy as he got out if his chair.

"No." Lucy said as Uki stood their motionless from shock thinking about all the possible dating sims that was helped him to this point and couldn't think of this situation."I actually brought lunch today and I was wondering if you wanted to eat with me today since your always paying for my meals."

"You made me lunch!" Uki cried as tears of happiness filled his eyes and Lucy looked worried.

"Did I do something wrong?" Lucy asked as she walked to Uki.

"No I'm just so happy because this is the first time anyone has made me food!" Uki gushed as he forgot about the time Lucy fed him at her house."What did you make?"

"I made spaghetti and garlic bread." Lucy said as they walked to the employee eating area which was empty.

"I still can't believe you made this for me." Uki said as he ate her spaghetti.

"Its the least I could do after you payed for all my meals." Lucy said as she eat her spaghetti.

They ate spaghetti and Uki told her all about the amusement park. When they finished eating and talking about the park it was time to go back to work.

"Alright Lunch break is over! Get back to work everyone!"

They finished work and left together like they always do. They walked to the train station and onto the train and the whole time Lucy was telling Uki about how excited she was that they was going to the amusement park. They got off the train and walked together until they had go thier separate ways.

"This Sunday, I can't wait!" Lucy yelled as she went done her street.

"Yeah this Sunday!" Uki yelled back at her as he walked to his apartment.

He got home and immediately went to his game to tell Darkprincess about his success. After waiting for a few minutes for her to get on he told her about it.

"I'm telling you it's because of my research and playing all those dating sims that prepared me for every question she had." Uki told Darkprincess as he countered they enemies attack.

"You can think what you want and I'll continue to think it was luck that she actually said yes to you and your dating sims." Darkprincess snapped as she killed all the enemies.

"Oh what's with that tone of voice, are you jealous?" Uki teased as he took on for enemies.

"Don't flatter yourself, I'm just mad that your stupid dating sim actually helped you this time!" Darkprincess yelled sounding annoyed as she killed an enemy.

"This time?" Uki asked as the four enemies killed him.

"Yes this time, remember those How To those count as dating sims to me." Darkprincess said as they went after the boss.

"This is nothing like those cursed How To!" Uki exclaimed as they killed the boss.

"Keep telling yourself that." Darkprincess said as she logged off.

"She's just mad my dating sims helped me and not her advice." Uki said as he logged of and walked to his room.

"I love dating sims!"
