Chapter 3 Maybe a How To isn't so good

"I told you a How To wasn't good." Darkprincess joked as she took out the boss."So what happened?"

Beep!Beep!Beep! Uki turned off his Alarm clock.

"Finally I've done it I woke up on time!" Uki yelled as he got out of Bed."I took that How To advice and now I'll show Lucy how much of a man I am!"

Uki went and took a shower because he had woken up two hours before he had to leave."Taking showers in the morning are great, I should do this for often." Uki got out of the shower and took his time putting on his suite. "Wow I still have an hour until I have to leave, I think I'll go and comb my hair, That way I'll look cool when I tell Lucy I love her."

Uki combed his hair into a comb over, which is different from his usual hair, which is I don't comb my hair.

"Wow I look great and now I'll wait to go to work and there I'll do everything I've learned in the How To."

Uki decided to leave early and wait for Lucy by her street and walk with her to the train station.

"Wow this has to be a first because I always see you rushing to get on the train." Lucy said as them walked to the train station.

"What can I say I'm a changed man." Uki said as he walked with swagger.

"And you even changed your hair style but I liked your hair the way it was." Lucy giggled."Because this new hair style makes you look like your a slicker."

"What can I say I'm a changed man." Uki said as he changed his hair back to the way it was."Well I guess a how to can be wrong every now and then."

"A how to of what?" Lucy asked as the got into the train.

"The how to get a girl to love you." Uki said not thinking at all."Wait did I just say that out loud?"

"Yeah you did." Lucy laughed as the train took them to thier stop."So who's this girl you want to get to love you?"

"You'll find out later today when I have I girlfriend." Uki declared as the walked out of the train.

"Oh really." Lucy joked as the walked out of the train. "Oh is it Sarah because she's pretty cute."

"I said you'll find out later." Uki insisted as they continued to walk to the office.

They finally made it to the building and into there office.

"So are you going to tell me!" Lucy exclaimed as they sat down."Because I don't ever see you talking to any girls."

"I see so you've been spying on me! What do you love me or something. Is that why your been spying on me!" Uki shouted as he looked at Lucy.

"I might but after hearing that I don't know anymore." Lucy mumbled as her face got red."Because I don't want to get in the way of your girlfriend."

"Alright everyone get to work!"

As Uki started to work he kept on thinking one thing. Is this how the how to said things would go if I act like this.

"No that can't be right in the how to last night it didn't go like that. In the how to she was already telling the dude she loved him. Even in my mind stimulation of this she was head over heels for me now but why isn't it going the way its supposed too?" Uki asked in his head then he remembered something from the How to. "Oh right she must be the type that acts like she doesn't care but in reality she does also know as a tsundere. But who would of ever thought she was like that. Well I'll ask her to eat lunch with me and I'll tell her then."

Lunch time came and Uki asked Lucy to eat with him.

"Hey Lucy you want to go eat together?" Uki asked as he walked to Lucys desk.

"Sure, since this will be our last time eating together since your going to get a girlfriend later." Lucy mumbled as she got up and they went to the same restaurant on the tenth floor.

"What will you have sir?" The waitress asked as she brought out her pen and paper.

"I'll have the steak with a salad." Uki said as he handed her his menu.

"Will that steak be medium, rare or cooked?" The waitress asked looking at Uki with googly eyes.

"Oh I'll take the medium please." Uki said as he got a drink of water.

"And for you ma'ma?" The waitress asked Lucy.

"I'll have the same thing." Lucy bellowed at the waitress as she handed her the menu.

"Will that be Medium, rare or cooked? The waitress snapped at Lucy.

"Come here and I'll tell you." Lucy snapped back at the waitress as her ear came by Lucy mouth." Stay away from him because he's mine. And I'll have a medium."

"Right away." The waitress said walking away.

"Lucy I have something to tell you." Uki said as he looked straight into Lucys eyes.

"What is it?" Lucy asked as she looked back at him.

"I.. I Lo..I LOVE YOU." Uki yelled at Lucy as Lucys face got super red and she spoke.

"I'm sorry but I don't think it'll be right to take you away from your girlfriend." Lucy said as she looked at the waitress."You can have your stupid waitress!" Lucy yelled as she got up and left.

"So what else happened after that?" Darkprincess asked as she countered an enemy attack.

"Hmm maybe she didn't hear me." Uki thought to himself as he ate." Oh well I'll just tell her again after all, I'm a changed man who has changed because of the How To system.

Uki went back to work and worked until it was time to quit and he walked back with Lucy.

"Lucy lets stop here for a second." Uki said as they stopped in front of a store.

"What do you want are you going to tell me all about your new girlfriend?" Lucy cried as they stood there.

"Lucy I don't have a girlfriend." Uki said as Lucy looked shocked and embarrassed. "I couldn't have a girlfriend because she didn't answer after I told her I loved her."

"Oh I'm sorry she did that to you." Lucy said as she turned away from Uki.

"Your not listening to me Lucy. I Love you!" Uki shouted as he still stood there and his face turned red.

"You Love me?" Lucy said turning around and faced him.

"Yes I love you Lucy." Uki said as he shook from nervousness the one thing the How To didn't teach him to counter.

"I'm sorry but ever since you started your how to system I stopped liking you. It got too annoying and you changed from the person I used to like but now I just hate this new you." Lucy said as she walked away.

"Is that everything that happened? What was it like going back to work with her?" Darkprincess asked as she took down three enemies.

"Well I wouldn't know because I woke up." Uki cried feeling depressed from his dream.

"What so everything you just told me was a dream!" Darkprincess yelled through the mic."If I knew where you lived I would come and kill you myself."

"What it was a very tragic experience and I found something out about myself." Uki said as he for the first time took out the boss.

"And what would that be?" Darkprincess shouted as they started a new mission.

"That I shouldn't listen to the How To anymore. My dream Lucy was right it has changed me." Uki said as they encounter the enemy.

"And it what way has it changed you so far?" Darkprincess asked as she took down an enemy.

"Well it's hard to say but its changed me by." Uki said as he died from an enemy attack." It changed me by making me more late then I usually was."

"Is that every way it changed you." Darkprincess asked sounding annoyed.

"Yeah it is, I found out it's a lot easier to let things come naturally to me and I never once used the How To except the time I accidentally ran into Lucy because someone told me it was Monday."

"Oh I'm sorry about that." Darkprincess laughed as she revived Uki.

"Oh I'm logging off now because I have to get rid of those cursed How To DVDs." Uki declared as he logged off.

"Man I better throw these out before Lucy thinks I've changed too much and stops liking me like dream Lucy did." Uki said to himself as he took all the DVDs and threw them in the trash bin outside his apartment building.

"Wait does she even like me?"
