Chapter 6 My brother in law is a big shot

" thank you for getting the children" Sofia said.

Andre merely nodded his head and didn't think much of it.

Regardless Sofia was thankful, otherwise she was afraid that her children have been taken away from her and she couldn't forgive herself if anything happened to them.

Laura,Andrew and Lauren tugged on Sofia's hands, their eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Mommy, can we go to Daddy's house? Pleeease?" Laura asked first and the two nodded excitedly waiting for her answer with anticipation.

Sofia hesitated, unsure of what to say,if she can put it this is the second time she's meeting Andre.

"I don't know, sweethearts,maybe we should—"

Andre stood up from his seat and said

" no problem, you can all come with me to our house."

The kids faces lit up in excitement.

"Yay! Daddy's house! Daddy's house!"

Andrew chimed in using his puppy eyes against Sofia knowing that it work effortlessly.

"Please, Mommy? Just for a little while?"

Sofia's resolve weakened, seeing her children's eager faces filled with excitement she couldn't bring herself to deprive her children from their happiness.

"Okay...fine. But we are just going their for a visit. And we're leaving after that deal."

" Deal!!!"

The kids squealed, hugging Andre.

"Thank you, Mommy!"Laura exclaimed.

Andre smiled, standing up ' this was a good start ' he thought.

"We should go together then ."

" This.."

" Of course we are tagging along " Mia excitedly exclaimed before Sofia could refuse.

A knock came through the door

*Knock,knock*

" Come in *

The door opened and man in his thirties entered the room with little trepidation and uneasy, the man just learned that the director was on this floor hence he rushed over, however he didn't expect the girls who where furiously scolding someone in the elevator to be here as well,he gave them a meanfull glace before looking at Andre and walked over.everyones attention was attracted by the visitor who just came through the door.

Mia was puzzled by that look,then she looked at Sofia if she knew what the man meat by that stare.

" Almm the man is the one who was behind us in the elevator earlier" Sofia whispered in Mias ears softly with her good memory was always paying attention to every detail and was most of the time alert.

Mia blushed remembering what she said earlier and now the person who listened to her blunder was before them making her feel embarrassed to look over.

Andre didn't miss the change of expression on the two women when the manager entered the room.

" Sir, my name is Maxwell Landon,I am the general manager."

Andre nodded his head and shared his thoughts.

" There has been change of plans, how about talking tomorrow I plan to take my family home."

" Yes sir, " manager Landon said slightly relieved,he thought the president came for the secret inspection but it seems not so.

" Take care sir." with that the manager left.

Andre nodded his head and looked at the kids.

" Well we should go as well."

As they arrived at Haven Villa, Sofia's eyes widened in awe, although she had made some money this was the first time she had stepped at this place filled with all but luxury.

"This...is his house, this is haven villa one of the most expensive villas in the city right?" Mia whispered to Sofia.

Sofia nodded her head still a little bit dazed, she of course already knows a little about the luxurious of the villa just from reading some magazines which talks about villas, and this villa happens to just cost billions of dollars covering an area of 200,000 square feet,a garden covering 1,000 acres of land, swimming pool and other sports fields like golf course and tennis course.

"Wow It's like a palace!" Mia said taking in everything in her sight with wonder.

The villa's grandeur was breathtaking. Towering pillars, crystal chandeliers, and lavish furnishings adorned the opulent interior.

Laura, Andrew, and Lauren exchanged excited glances looking around the place.

"Welcome to Haven Villa," Andre announced, beaming with pride.

Sofia's gaze lingered on the villa's extravagant decor.

"This is...excessive," Sofia said, her voice laced with disapproval, for a moment.

Andre chuckled,not much surprised at all, earlier from the system when he signed in and was rewarded the house even the layout of the house was imprinted in his mind.

"I'm glad you like it. The kids requested to come here, and I couldn't resist their charming smiles." Andre didn't find it a big deal though and said casually.

Andrew Laura and Lauren now standing beside Andre, grinned mischievously.

"We wanted to see Daddy's house!"Lauren exclaimed.

Sofia's expression softened, seeing the excitement in her children's eyes.

"I suppose it's...impressive," Sofia admitted.

As they entered the villa, the kids squealed with delight, racing to explore their new surroundings.

Mia whispered to Sofia.

"This is insane. How can one person afford this?"

Sofia's eyes locked onto Andre.

"I think we're about to find out."

" Maybe my brother in law is the big shot.no my brother in law is the big short." Mia thought secretly and looked between Sofia and Andre with a thoughtful look.
