Andre had just pulled out of the car showroom, his newly acquired Koenigsegg CCXR gleaming in the sunlight on the highway road .
As he turned into a narrow alley, he suddenly heard a thud from the front and hurriedly slammed on the brakes.
His eyes flicked and furrowed as he saw a man crumpled on the ground, after his body slumped against the CCXR's sleek side panel.
The man's eyes flickered open, and he gazed up at the car with a mixture of pain and confusion. Then, his eyes rolled back, and he fainted.
Andre leapt out of the car, rushing to the man's side. He quickly assessed the situation, taking in the various injuries and bloodstains on the man's body.
Despite his rugged appearance, which suggested a background in martial arts, Andrew's primary concern was getting the man medical attention. He gently loaded the man into the CCXR and sped off towards the nearest hospital.
As he drove, Andrew couldn't help but notice the man's physique, which hinted at a high level of physical training. However, Andre's focus remained on getting the man the help he needed, rather than speculating about his background and how someone coming from an alley which was 20 meters away could still bump into his car to cause an accident.
The hospital's emergency entrance came into view, and Andre pulled up, honking the horn to alert the medical staff. They rushed out to attend to the injured man, and Andre breathed a sigh of relief, hoping that he had gotten the man to the hospital in time.
" Ding, checking Host current location, Imperial hospital, would host like to sign in"
" Sign -in"
" Ding,Congratulations Host acquiring imperial hospital. "
Andre's gaze lingered on the medical team who went to attend to the injured man for a moment and looked away.
Feeling that he had taken care of the unconscious man and that the man was assured that the man will receive proper care, Andre turned to leave.
Just then, a commotion at the side lobby caught his attention. Two teenagers, looking frantic and worried, were struggling to hold up a woman who seemed to have passed out.
Andre's eyes narrowed as he watched the scene unfold. The teens were pleading with a nurse to attend to their mother, promising to find a way to pay for the medical bills later.
However, the nurse remained firm, refusing to provide treatment unless the teens could pay the full amount upfront. Andre could sense the desperation and fear emanating from the teens.
"I'm sorry." the nurse repeated, her expression sympathetic but firm. "But there's nothing I can do. Maybe if you—"
"Just take her, please!" the girl cried out while begging the nurse and holding out their mother's limp form. "We'll do anything to pay bills, just save her please!"
The nurse hesitated, was impatient as well clearly this kind of situation happens most of the time, and the end result is where the patient family fails to pay back the money in the end the one lending a hand have to risk their job.
"Listen why not just go to the clinic or a general hospital. " she said finally hoping that the teens will take her suggestions,if she just left them their, then the reputation of the imperial hospital of been cold to patients will surface.
They looked at each other, then back at their mother, who lay unconscious in their arms, how could they not have thought of that, their relatives have blocked them access to get treatment from any hospital clearly forcing their mother towards the deaths door however only imperial hospital which they don't have enough power to manipulate could help them, they also knew they couldn't afford the bills here but thought of trying their luck.
"What are we going to do?" the girl whispered, tears streaming down her face.
The boy shook his head, his eyes welling up with tears. "I don't know," he admitted, his voice cracking. "But we can't give up. We have to save Mom."
Andre's eyes remained fixed on the distraught family as he felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity wash over him at the same time a head ache assaulted him for some reasons.
Hence without hesitation, he stepped forward.
As Andre's gaze fell upon the family of three, his expression transformed from calm to shock, and then to anguish. His eyes, once bright and composed, now turned red.
His mother, the woman he had thought of day in and day out, lay unconscious in the arms of his younger siblings. The pain and desperation etched on their faces cut through Andre like a knife, awakening emotions he thought he had long buried.
As the director approached him, beaming with pride, Andre's face contorted in a mixture of grief and rage. He felt like he was suffocating, unable to breathe, as the weight of his past crashed down on him making his head ache even more.
With a Herculean effort, Andre composed himself, his mask of calm slipping back into place. But his eyes betrayed him, revealing the turmoil that raged within but he wasn't sure why he was very angry.
Just then a group of doctors and directors of the hospital came rushing through, Andre seeing the man in front who was about to pass on the greetings and the name tag on his chest Andre spared no effort to issue the order.
"Director Lee," Andre said, his voice low and husky, as he entrusted his mother to the director's care. "I want the best team of doctors to attend to my...to this woman. Spare no expense. I want her to receive the best care possible."
The director's eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly nodded, sensing the gravity of the situation. "Of course,Mr president. We'll do everything in our power to save her and give her the best treatment."
" Good "
