"If only it was that easy." Mr. White shook his head with a bitter smile.

Once influence and power are gained it is hardly uprooted. Every noble family was a pillar, some smaller than others, that held the nation together. Eradicating them simply because they had grown needs and wants of their own was the fastest way of destroying this country. 

Mr. White didn't bother explaining anymore, because he believed Lucius was too young to understand. While Lucius has displayed maturity beyond his age, he was still a kid in the mind and soul, there were things he couldn't understand now.

"So how did your date go? You two are the talk of the town lately." Mr. White changed the topic and Lucius rolled his eyes.

"Pretty good. I got to understand her likes and the type of person she is." Lucius shrugged.

Since the news was already online, he wasn't surprised by the question.

"Did you get lucky?" Mr. White asked with a mischievous smile.
