Why I (don't) regret looking for the dragon's eyes

Sacred treasures exist, they are the remnants of a dragon, an unknown entity that once set the world ablaze. Arthur, prince of the Tashran Kingdom and untalented mage wants to get his hand on one of the treasures to rule over his lands by his means. After he runs away, his family hunts him down, but he's stubborn and believes the treasure he's looking for is nearby. Thrown into the outside world, a place he has never set foot in, he'll do anything to take back what rightfully belongs to his legacy.
