CHAPTER EIGHT:DO NOT CRY.

Xavier Nolan's clothes at the time were filled with blood.

Xavier Nolan paced back and forth until the moment when the doctor came out.

He first removed his surgical mask then held it on his right hand.

"Sorry the patient had already lost too much blood before she was rushed to the hospital. There was nothing we could do." The doctor had said.

Suddenly, tears sprang to his eyes as a searing pain hit Xavier Nolan when he was hit by nostalgia.

Kelly Channing tried to stop Xavier Nolan from weeping but that did not help.

Pain racked his body as she openly cried out in pain, tears running down his cheeks.

"Do not cry,"Kelly Channing said as she patted Xavier Nolan on his head.

After some minutes of singing Xavier Nolan a song:

The moon gleaming over the river,

The children sitting down by the river,

What would they do except fish,

The water flows by with the fish,

That the children are going to fish.

He stopped weeping but asked Kelly Channing to take some photos with him before they left while they were at the carousel which was going round and round behind them decorated with lights that lit up the scenario.

Kelly Channing agreed to the request because she did not want to see her boss Xavier Nolan weep again.

The night sky was aglow with bright city lights.

Kelly Channing opened the passengers seats behind the driver's seat and helped Xavier Nolan in there.

"Careful."she said as she got in to make sure he was stable on the seat.

As she hepled him to fasten up his seatbelt,she felt Xavier Nolan's hand reach out and pulled her close to him.

He fixed his gaze on her lips before he neared close to her nose while titling his head.

Kelly Channing was just staring at him wondering what would happen next.

She allowed her lips to part for once and Kelly Channing kissed her fiercely on the lips.

He still felt that this was not enough,he continued on with the kissing until when his desires were fulfilled.

The carousel that was still going round and round was decorated with flashing lights which made the scene more romantic as they reflected the light onto Kelly Channing's face.

As he went on,he felt Kelly Channing pushing him aside.

"Boss,I have my principles and you have a sweetheart already,please stop." She said then left the passenger's seat and closed the door before she opened the door of the driver's seat and got in.

Kelly Channing looked exactly like Nora Jabari so he did it simply because he was daydreaming.

Kelly Channing herself did not know the main reason why she allowed her boss, Xavier Nolan to kiss her on the lips but she was sure she did this because of the weeping and because he was very handsome and charming.

After the kissing,Kelly Channing got in the driver's seat and turned on the engine of the tar black SUV car after fastening her seatbelt.

"Boss,where do you live,I will drive you home." She asked him as she fastened her seatbelt and stared at him from the rear view mirror.

"Take me to your home." Xavier Nolan replied before he fell asleep in the car.

'Kelly Channing how dare you kiss Xavier Nolan and you know very well that he has a girlfriend named Quetzalli Axel?' She asked herself.

Kelly Channing was forced to take him home for the night but knew very well that her roommates Kaylee Declan and Mila Connor would be very pleased to see a rich, handsome and successful man in their apartment.

Kelly Channing's apartment was decorated with fairy lights hanging from the trees outside with a picnic table under a big willow tree where they rested on the sunny days.

Kelly Channing parked the car in the front yard since their apartment had no garage.

She helped the sleepy Xavier Nolan out of the car and into the house.
