This is intense

I knocked on the door nervously, making my heart pound and my body sweat—finally, a woman with sliver-colored; I believe it's her natural hair color as Eryx has the same, medium hair length that glows in the night.

"Hello. You must be Eryx's new mate, I heard."

She has an accent. I wonder where she was born and raised. Since she's VERY mature, I will be too. I need to be in favour of others.

"Hi there, Ma'am! Yes, indeed I am. The name's Ayden."

"Well, nice to meet you."

This is really awkwarddddd. Is she not going to let me in? How come, his other mom got to marry with this cold characteristic--- no offense.

"Oh boy, come on in! You're going to catch a cold again if you keep standing in the rain!!"

Yayyyy!! Miss Silverie to the RESCUE!- I sound childish. AHEM!

*At the Dinning Table

"So, Ayden, tell me something about yourself"

"Uhh, um-, I'm 19 years old, I'm from the Tyrinx Resident. I go to the same school as your son-"

"Tyrinx?"

"Yea"

Xantara: Tyrinx Resident was on the suspected list for drugging the kids and creatures to use them as an experiment. I thought I'd have to relax.

"Alright, Your parents? What do they do"

"My father owns the Hustonia Company, My mother is a lawyer"

Wait, if she's asking me that, I believe she's having suspicion in me.

"That's enough, mother! He came here for dinner, not for your series of surveys."

"Fair. Now, feast!"

We ate and talked and talked and ate. It was as if I were in my family mansion gathered with happy faces on every one of my members. I might have missed out on those times when I spent quality time with my family, however, this is better than dealing with insults that'd come out of my parents and relatives.

Xantara was occasionally staring at me from time to time. I'm pretty sure she's noticed it by now. This is the end of me. Help me!! Before it gets REALLY intense, Eryx pulled me into his room.. The chamber was over half covered with books, had great lighting, and spacious areas. It was definitely different from where I woke up from. But this was still better than living alone. Now that I've thought of it, doesn't Miss Xantara earn a huge amount of money?? While I was lost in thoughts, Eryx had his chair pulled out. When I thought he was planning to do homework as a nerd was expected to, he took out his laptop and started gaming. I've never seen anyone play like this before. What was this game? War? Survival? I was for once interested in this kind of stuff and continued to admire him play. He was AMAZING!

"Wanna try out?"

"Of course, I'd give it a go!"

I struggled the past 4 times but I got used to it, plus, with the help of a pretty nerd beside me. The time passed. All my worries flew away for a moment. All I could think of was this awesome graphic in front of me and how a person could be patient in teaching me. He'd be a perfect tutor for me- STOP ALL THIS NONSENSE AT ONCE!

*Rustle*

"It's almost midnight, man. Aren't you going back?"

"I mean I would but I'm enjoying myself with this. Besides, they wouldn't even know where I'd gone or that I'm missing."

"Sure, alright. B'cz of you, I'm tired of this game."

"Sorry not sorry"

Ms Silverie shouted from downstairs: "KIDS, IT'S ALMOST MIDNIGHT, AND AYDEN, AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO GO BACK? OR DO YOU WANT A SLEEPOVER?"

I LOVED THE SOUND OF THAT! We wrapped everything up and got ready to sleep. Despite the comfortable bed and a fairly large guest room, I couldn't sleep. Due to this, I went outside for a midnight walk. 

I heard a howl again- My mind flashed before me. Those red eyes, creepily uncut nails, the horns or the ears... I almost fainted until Eryx was in front of me.

" What's the matter with you mate? "

"Nothing. Just memories."

"If you say so. Since we're out, it's my time to show you something."

"Ooo, a surpise. I Love IT."

We climbed up to his house's attic's balcony; didn't know it existed until now. I was calmed by the sight of a splendid view of the city. I wonder if there was peace between the two societies.

Author's note:

As I've mentioned before, there are two of them. One's the AA and the other's SSS. AA is the agency that is against the SSS's doings as they believe SSS is just a bluff and just wanted to make the citizens feel safe when in reality, is not. For this, AA has been redoing all the tasks that SSS did. Little did Ayden know that what he's been doing all his years at the center, was all for a bad course.

-AA was founded by the cruelest Vox and his wife. His wife, Lucina wasn't cut out for such work she quit. Once she did it, the evil side of Vox showed its true color and killed her. But nobody knew that, not even his kid.
