582 A Bleak Battle With Bleaker Prospects

The sound of flapping wings filled Arfin City, and soon, the sound of rushing air became prominent as the angels dived. The showdown began.

Some brave angels immediately engaged some Voidwalkers in close-quarter combat. Other angels remained in the air and slashed their swords, sending sword beams to their enemies. 

The Voidwalkers quickly lost the upper hand, and Arfin City was getting destroyed. The war had just begun, yet the angels quickly used their fiercest attacks, pushing the Voidwalkers to a disadvantageous situation. The school of angels had arrived a very short time after the natural disasters, leaving the Voidwalkers almost no time to prepare. 

The Voidwalkers were forced to separate, and soon, each Voidwalker could be seen fighting three or more angels. They had to do this while protecting the few students that failed to leave the island on time.
