16. D GRADE DUNGEON 2

THE GOBLIN CAVE DUNGEON

HIAKKY P.O.V.

When Kira and I entered the dungeon a pop-up mission from the system appeared.

[DING]

[WELCOME TO THE D-GRADE DUNGEON "GOBLIN CAVE"]

[OBJECTIVE SLAY THE MONSTER BOSS KING OF THE GOBLIN.]

[REWARD UPON COMPLETING THE DUNGEON: 500 EXP 500 COINS]

After reading the quest, we looked around to see that we were in fact in a Big and dark cave. "Hiakki you already know this but stay alert the monster can come from everywhere" She is right it doesn't help that dark "You are right, thank you" Then I summon all of my soul minions, they start to appear from the ground. Slayer approached me kneed in front of me and asked ~What are your orders master?~

"You and the others stay around us for protection and when a monster is coming let us know" ~At your order master.~ He did as I told him and the rest of my minions gathered around us in circle. Now I know goblin aren't that strong, when they are alone. But the problem come when they attack in group. Because even if they are weak they can have the number to overwhel large group of people.

THUD!

We started to hear some noise like rock moving, we then started to hear some sund like grunts. From different direction they appeared. there are fifteen of them, they are small with a small dagger as a weapon. ~Master!~ "It's Ok Slayer, you go and take care of the in front of us and the left. Kira you take care of the one on the right, the other take care of the remaining one" They did as I ordered and seems our move surprised even the goblin, and that moment of distration was what we needed to destroy them.

It isn't much but if putted togheter with the number of you get alot of exp. In less then a minute all of the coblin were killed I revived five of them just to increase the number of my soldier but since they are too weak a will cancel the summon after we compleate the dungeon. After five minutes of wandering, another orde of coblin came toward us and this time there were more maybe fifthy of them, some weilding a daggers some a wodden spear afew of them are wearing a hood and have a staff in their hand. They must be some kind of sorcerers, we beter keep an eye on them . The goblin in front with weapon chargged to us immediatly and the goblin sorceres where preparing different spell to attack us but I already have a plan ready. "Sorceres stay back and counter the other sorceres attack while you guys take kare of the rest" With that a small battle begin, the goblin are easy kill so it be much of a problem we just to keep an eye open since they are in number,

[DING]

Message like this continued had appear increasinng our exp too.

But steel not enough, we firts need to take care of their mage first. (Now their to distracted by my mage now I will send one of my min- eh) suddently I see Kira quickly approching the goblin mage "Now [CRITICAL SLASH]" she then used her skill to kill all the goblin mages.

[DING]

[YOU HAVE KILLED LOW-LEVEL GOBLIN MAGE]

"Good job Kira, It's like you have read my mind." But now it time to wrap it up. "Now guys retreat!" they did as I told, the enemy seemed confused by our action. Now [CORPSE EXPLOSION] In a instant there was a big explosion that hit the remaining goblin killing them.

KABOOM

The notification kept appearing like this for a bit. When they finished I checked my exp

It's not much but better then I tough. I turned to Kira to see how she is going. "Kira how is going for you?" She checked her profile with a small smile said "Good, not to much but at least something"

"Bay the way Hyakki, when I killed those mages they droped this." she then made a wood staff appear in his hand and gave it to me, let's take a look.

[NAME: WOOD WAND]

[DESCRIPTION: A SIMPLE WAND MADE OF WOOD WITH NO PARTICULARITY.]

I understtod that things suck but we could still sell it "Well this things is useless but we can still sell it, do you have other Kira?" she answered with a smile "Yes I have 3 more, I thought that even if they cheap it's always better than nothing." i like how she thought even though we don't have any money issue now it's alway better to have some more. "That's a good idea" I gave her back the staff and she put it in her invetory. We than proced with the dungeon durring the road we encountered other small group of goblin, but they were easily defeated.

THE BOSS ROOM

We finnaly reached the boss room. When we steeped inside we saw a huge monster sitting on a drone of some sort on the other side of the cave. When he saw us he stood up and grabed a club that was next to him, he then growled at us, and a notification from the system appeared.

[DING]

[THE BOSS MONSTER KING OF THE GOBLIN APPEARED]

He may be big but we must remain focused, he started to run towards us in a reclesy way, but we are ready. As he was going to swang his club at us I mentaly ordered Slayer to parry the attack, to help him in parrying the attack went Kira with both her blades. For emergency I called both my bone-sword and bone short-sword, Slayer and Kira were able to parry the boss attack but it wasn't enough to stagger him and attacked again. Slayer was able to parry another Attack and in he mean time me and Kira attacked the creature legs with our weapon, we were succefull in injuring his legs but now my hands are empty.

I know that those sword were near to be broken but come on (I should probraly buy a better weapon). Without a melee weapon I retreted to the backside with the soul mage. I then ordered to the other soul knight and goblin to attack the boss monster with the other. Then I ordered the soul mage to prepare a offensive spell.

While the mages prepared the spell the other were attacking the boos costantly to give as much dammage as possible. When I saw they were ready I called back the other, "Everyone stay back!" All the Minion and Kira retreted confusing the boss that was then hit with different spell attack giving him a lot of dammage. Great only a little more and it will die. Now i think it's a good opportunity to test this skill. "Ok everyone stay back. I would like to teste something." Now let's try it out. [SOUL FLAME] I created I big ball of soul fire and trow it at the enemy, the flame engullfed the enemy complitly, making the boss scream in pain. after some seconds the flame stopped and boss fell on ground dead.

Not bad as loote but now there's someelse I need to do. I canceled the summoning of the goblin and Went to boss corpes and then I said [ARISE]

the soul left the body of the boss had the same look as he was alive but just like other minion. I portal then appeared in the center of the room, I think it the exit of this dungeon, I called back all my summon and we exited the dungeon.
