Why A Dimensional Chat Group?

In contemporary Japan, Yuu Tachibana lives a seemingly ordinary life with his beloved family. However, Yuu harbors a secret: he has lived a past life in another world, making his current life his second. Having no one to call family in his previous life, Yuu cherishes his family all the more. One fateful night, Yuu discovers an unidentified phone in his room. The message displayed on its screen is cryptic and foreboding: [Do you want to save your family from their terrible fate?] With a sense of dread, Yuu is faced with a choice: [Yes] or [No]. Yuu must decide if he is willing to risk everything to protect his loved ones. Will he choose to save them, or let fate run its course? -------- So, before you jump into the fic, let me address the frustration of some readers, This fic is slow. The Dimensional Chat Group, is not given to the MC in the first or fifth chapter. No, no! Not even in 8 chapter, It decides to make a fashionable entrance in chapter 11. And we don't even get to fully explore it until chapter 15. Isn't that just great? The delay in the chat group's appearance seems to be a point of confusion for many readers. While the chat group is indeed a central aspect of the story, it's important to understand why the MC would use this unknown and potentially dangerous power. If the MC is reckless or unintelligent, the chat group's usage might begin in the first chapter. However, if the MC is depicted as a self-proclaimed genius or cautious individual, the story will reach the point of the chat group's involvement by chapter 3 at the latest, followed by a mission. In the initial 8 to 9 chapters, we get a glimpse into the MC's ordinary existence. He leads a regular life, surrounded by his loving family. He attends school, where he has a small circle of friends. Financially speaking, his family doesn't face any difficulties or hardships. And he is content with this simple, everyday life. Now, you might be wondering, why on earth would a person like our MC take a risk with the Chat Group? Hear me out. He's not some thrill-seeker, or a martial arts enthusiast looking for stronger opponents, nor is he a genius bored out of his mind. He's content with his life, and he doesn't crave anything more. So, why would he put his neck on the line? That's precisely why it takes so long for the Chat Group to enter the picture. The initial chapters focus on showcasing his everyday life with family and friends. It's all about giving you a glimpse into why he wouldn't initially desire the chat group. But, of course, he eventually takes the plunge because he discovers a reason that speaks to him. Now, I know some of you may say, "Hey, couldn't you have summed it up in a single chapter?" Well, sure, I could have, but I didn't want to. Summarizing the MC's relationships and motivations would have resulted in a shallow excuse that you—yes, you—would probably complain about later. Plus, there's more to this story than just his daily life. But enough about that. Let's get one thing straight: this fic is slow. If you're expecting a quick summary with occasional fights and snappy dialogue, do yourself and me a favor by clicking off this fic. You'll find what you're looking for in less than 10 seconds, guaranteed. So, if you're still here after this warning, I don't want to hear any complaints about the story's pace. You've been duly informed. And hey, as you read, try paying a little more attention to uncover the hidden meanings within the dialogues and monologues. Also, I am not saying that I have done a fantastic job on the writing, No that’s not the point of this. The point is that you the reader don’t waste your time reading something you don’t like. And I don’t get 1-star reviews for a reason as petty as ‘The Chat group took too long to appear’ That's all for now. A Lie

"Miss…" But Yuichiro turned his head to Kanae who smiled.

'If you want to think that the Corps is using you, you can think like that. In return use the corps, their facilities, protection, techniques, use everything they have to offer and become strong, strong enough to protect your brother on your own, and then leave the corps if that is what you want,' Yuichiro remembered Yuu's words as they were walking back and he understood what he needed to do.

"We would accompany you to the corps, Please take care of me and my brother," Yuichiro said bowing his head.

"You don't need to say that, no one in the Demon Slayer corps will ever mistreat you," Kanae smiled as she walked over.

"B-Brother, are we really going to be Demon Slayers?" Muichiro asked in shock, he was really taken in by what he had heard from Amane and Kanae.

"What do you mean we? I'll become one. Do you think you're talented enough to do that?" Yuichiro said and Muichiro…

"Then I'll work extra hard to catch up to you Nii-san," Yuichiro could only sigh looking at his brother being excited.

'You don't know do you …it is my fault that this happened in the end,' Yuichiro could only keep that to himself as it was now time to move.

Half an hour later, Muichiro and Yuichiro packed what little they had, and currently.

"Father and Mother, we are leaving the house but please do not worry because we'll safe. So, please bless us with good fortune on our journey," Yuichiro prayed in front of his parents grave which was only a little distance away from their house as Muichiro was crying while he also prayed.

The mother of the two died of bronchitis while their father slipped of the cliff during a storm while he was gathering herbs for his wife's treatment.

The two buried their mother first and then…

'Brother looked through the whole mountain to search for father,' Muichiro remembered how Yuichiro came back carrying their father's body and buried it next to their mother, it took him two whole days to search for it but Yuichiro didn't stop until he found his father.

'That was the day brother changed,' Muichiro thought as…

"Why do you cry so much? Are you going to cry in front of Demons as well?" Yuichiro asked as he wiped Muichiro's tears with a cloth.

"Both of them are good kids, aren't they?" Kanae said to Yuu slowly.

"I guess," But his flat answer made her smile.

And the four left Kagenobu Mountain and started their journey back.

"W-What is this creature?" Yuichiro covered his brother as soon as he saw the train.

"Woah!" But Muichiro looked really interested and he kept asking questions which were answered by Kanae as they traveled back to the Butterfly Mansion.

The twins didn't take long before they were able to understand how things worked in the city and a few days later after they met Kagaya once to understand more about their lineage along with what the Corps had to offer.

They were assigned to cultivators so that they could be properly trained after they accepted Kagaya's offer to join the corps.

Muichiro was sent to the Wind Breathing Style cultivator while Yuichiro was sent to the Thunder Breathing Style Cultivator even though he had other plans before that.

"Don't forget your promise of teaching me after I become a Kinoe(One Rank below a Pillar)," Yuichiro spoke to Yuu while the latter was training in the backyard.

"I don't have a breathing technique, I can't teach you anything," Yuu said flatly while swinging the wooden katana.

"Yeah, it would be better if you take teaching from my sister," Shinobu said since the twins seemed to have very high potential from what she had observed.

So, it would be better if they train with someone who can actually help them with their main source of strength.

"I don't want to learn a breathing style from you," Yuichiro said completely ignoring Shinobu which caused her eyes to twitch but she kept her silence for now.

"Whatever," Yuu said without turning back and Yuichiro walked away without even looking at Shinobu.

"I will come back quickly so you better not go anywhere," Yuichiro said before he left for training.

And as soon as he left it felt like he came back running, well it was actually Muichiro who looked panicked.

"Kocho-san, Did Nii-san leave already?" Muichiro asked in a hurried voice.

"…Yes, where did you go?" Shinobu couldn't help but ask since Muichiro was waiting for Yuichiro before he suddenly ran away just a little before his brother came here.

"I am nervous so my stomach kept rumbling," Muichiro was terrified since it was their first day of training; he was scared that he might mess things up.

"Go quickly, you might be able to catch up to him," Shinobu said.

"Thank you Kocho-san, I'll be going now," Muichiro bowed to her and Yuu before running away.

"How are those two siblings? Don't you think it is weird?" Shinobu was confused at the stark contrast between the two brothers and…

"...Yeah," Yuu agreed but…

"What's with the pause, huh? You got something to say?" Shinobu looked at Yuu with narrowed eyes but the latter did not show any reactions.

"I don't know what you are talking about," Yuu stated flatly and Shinobu just decided to let it go since she couldn't find anything.

That afternoon, after washing his face and changing into new clothes.

Yuu was inside his room looking at his phone, He looked at the Dimensional Chat Group and pressed the button.

'I need to see the other options first,' Yuu's main focus was on the shop and the Gacha.

Those were the items that were going to help him in what he wanted to do the most.

And as soon as he clicked on the icon that looked like a shopping cart…

------

Can't access the shop in another world.

------

Yuu clicked on the Gacha option that had an icon that looked like a dollar bill going into a garbage can and…

----

Gacha cannot be accessed in another world.

----

"...." Yuu looked at the prompts on his phone and blinked.

'This could be troublesome,' That was all he thought as he looked out of the window.

If what he was thinking was correct then…

"Yeah, this will be really troublesome if I don't know what type of world I'll be going into," Yuu muttered but he quickly pushed the thought to the back of his head since there was another matter he needed to attend to now.

'Who am I going to invite?' Yuu already had two candidates in his mind whom he wanted to invite into the Chat Group.

But he could only choose one of them and...

Knock* Knock*

Yuu placed his phone in the pocket of his kimono and opened the door.

"Tachibana-sama, I would like to talk to you about something, is it alright to do so now?" Kanae asked him and…

"Yes, I was about to come and talk to you as well Kocho-san," Yuu said flatly as he moved back letting Kanae come inside the room and closed the door.

"Tachibana-sama, what did you want to talk about?" Kanae asked since it should be something important and it seemed that way.

And Yuu's next words were straight to the point…

"Kocho-san, I have been lying to you,"
