What Happens Now?
Of all the things that Zarinah had expected with her coming back to Alexei, this type of hospitality was certainly not it. However, it seemed like the kids around her were not really okay with her just disappearing.
They had so many questions, like whether the brothers could be defeated, whether Mikhail was safe, whether the ascendant was in safe hands even though they could only speculate about it.
They wanted to know what was going to happen to Alexei and why the hell she was so mortified and injured.
All of this had been unexpected, not just for Zari alone, but for everyone else. It was almost like they had finally had one common enemy, the brothers of doom, whose main intention was to make their lives miserable.
It was hilarious how the Zeynep found pleasure in fucking with their lives when all they ever did was exist. It was a tad bit harsh, but the world itself was a harsh place.
