Sure Uncertainties

Alexei was scared.

Everyone wondered what the hell was happening to their home, and frankly, they all had no idea, save for the wolves inside the castle. The rest of the wolves were back in their houses, scared of coming out.

The alpha males tried to get everyone to calm down, but no one would, especially since they were worried about their alpha king and the beta.

Camille tried using her power as the Luna to soothe her people, but it didn't do much.

She was not the true Luna, so she had no real connection with these people. To them, she was just the pack girl who had replaced their queen, and they were not ready to accept that. Not that they would ever say it to her face.

No one wanted to die early.

So they just stayed and looked at her while she helplessly tried to soot the wolves through the mind links. She had just realized that many people were not comfortable with her being the Luna, and she kind of expected that.
