Deadly, Deadlier, Deadliest

Alexei had been brought to a standstill with the wolves worried for their king and the people that lived in the palace. They were in their packs, but that didn't mean they felt safe either. The worry could be felt in the links that bound them together, and their Luna was helpless against all that.

Camille had failed in her first-ever duty to the kingdom, and she didn't know if taking up the position was a good idea. Of course, she knew it was a bad idea; who was she kidding, but then she had to hold on a little bit longer.

She had to hold on till Luna Hera came back for it because she really couldn't take it anymore, but she wasn't going to tell that to the people she had once challenged for the position.

That would be utterly ungrateful of her, and maybe she was many things, but she was the girl that knew what gratitude meant. But did she ever understand the mere concept of gratuity?
