Wide Awake

He rushes out and gets the doctors.

Min Ho: She moved her fingers. I'm certain of it.

B.S mom: Is our princess finally waking up

Doctor  Jung: It seems that way .What were you doing when she moved her finger?

Min Ho: I was just talking to her.

Doctor Jung:That's okay.You should continue talking to her then.

B.S dad:That's all we have to do?

Doctor Jung: Well that's all you can do for now.

B.S mom: We'll do that .Thank you.

The Kim's and Min Ho stay in her room talking to Bong Soon.She moves her fingers twice in their presence.

Myung Soo comes back…

Myung Soo: Any progress?

Min Ho: Yes she's been moving her fingers.

Myung Soo: Aish so much has happened in my absence. Next time I won't go.

Min Ho: Jeez she didn't wake up and run a marathon. She just moved her fingers.

Myung Soo: (excited) So is she finally waking up.

Min Ho: The doctor thinks so.He said we should keep talking to her.

Myung Soo :Who was with her when she moved.

Min Ho: I was

Myung Soo: (chuckles) Awee...I see

Min Ho: What?

Myung Soo: You're really enjoying this huh

Min Ho: (confused) Enjoying what?

Myung Soo: Being the one who first saw her move.

Min Ho: Aish you're really going on about this.

Myung Soo: Yes ...is this why you were insisting that I go home.So you could have her all to yourself?

Min Ho: (chuckles) Jealousy isn't cute on you.

Myung Soo just chuckles then goes into the room followed by Min Ho.They all spend the whole day watching and talking to her but there's no progress  .Later in the evening as everyone is sleeping  someone walks into Bong Soons room.

It's Soo Hyun

Soo Hyun: Hi....im sorry I haven't been around much...you don't know how much I wanted to see you...i wasn't about to end this day without coming here....i don't know know if you can hear me...Aish I miss your annoying voice...i know it's only been 2 days but it feels like forever...Wake up soon hey....Ive got some news to share with you...My mom finally woke up....I told her about you...She said she already likes you....Shes going to visit you tomorrow...And I guess we were wrong about my dad after all....Hes out of prison now

Suddenly she moves her hand

Soo Hyun: Omo...can you hear me

She moves her hand again

Soo Hyun:Come Bong Soon try really hard ....try to open your eyes ...just once ...please..

She just moved her hand

Soo Hyun: Come on...

Mrs Kim wakes up

B.S mom: (sleepy) What's going on?

Soo Hyun: She just moved her hand

B.S mom: (wide awake)What!

everyone wakes up

Soo Hyun:(excited)  She moved her hand.

Min Ho: When did you get here?

Soo Hyun: Not long ago .

B.S dad:Let me go get the doctor.

Myung Soo:(annoyed) I can't believe I missed it again

Soo Hyun: Missed what?

Myung Soo: Seeing her move.

Min Ho: She moved her fingers earlier today.

Soo Hyun:  How come no one told me?

B.S mom: We didn't want to disturb you.

Soo Hyun:I get you ,but I still would like to stay informed. Next time please tell me

Myung Soo: I'll tell you .I know how it feels missing out like that

Mrs Kim comes back with a doctor

Doctor :Well  keep on doing whatever you're doing .She might wake up anytime soon

Myung Soo: Sounds great

Min Ho: That's what he said in the afternoon (sighs)

Doctor :You have to be patient

B.S dad:Okay doctor, thank you.

They then keep talking with Bong Soon but she  doesn't react .And they end up falling asleep in her room.

Sunday

The Boys go to get refreshed then come back .

B.S mom: Aish you're back.You really are stubborn. You also need to rest too.

Myung Soo: We want to be here

Min Ho: And we don't mind

Soo Hyun: Because she'd do the same

B.S dad: Wow,I don't know how my princess ended up having friends like you but I'm really grateful .

Won Ho walks up to them

Won Ho: Good morning good people!

B.S mom: Won Ho you're here

Won Ho: Where else can I be .The little thing needs all the support she can get.

Mr Shin arrives

Mr Shin:Good morning

B.S dad:Good morning Mr Shin

Mr Shin: You know why I'm here right

B.S mom: Awe yes Mr Cho' s funeral.How could we forget .

Mr Shin: Well you have to get ready then I'll take you there.

B.S dad:Will you boys be fine staying here for a while?

Myung Soo: Yes..Now go on.

B.S mom:Okay call if anything happens

They leave....

Myung Soo: Great we finnaly get time alone.Theres something i need to tell you.

Soo Hyun: What?

Myung Soo: Well firstly I told Won Ho about everything.

Min Ho: I knew that was going to happen sooner or later.You told him he can't tell anyone right.

Won Ho: I'm not a kid.I know what to say and what not to.

Min Ho: Just  checking .

Myung Soo: Aish that doesn't matter.Okay secondly guess who showed up.

Soo Hyun: Just tell us.

Myung Soo: Aish you're no fun.

Soo Hyun: (sarcastic) Well I'm sorry I don't want to play kiddie games.

Myung Soo:Okay okay Mi Nam  showed up

Min Ho: What!

Myung Soo: And thats not all

Soo Hyun:What is it?

Myung Soo: Well she recognized the guy who paid her father .

Min Ho: Didnt she just hear his voice.

Myung Soo: Yes and that's what she recognized him with.

Soo Hyun:And who is this mystery man?

Won Ho: That man I'm ashamed to call my grandfather .

Min Ho: What!

Soo Hyun: Wait so how did he get involved with my dad.

Myung Soo:  I don't know you tell me?

Soo Hyun: Well I don't know.Everything we've thought so far about my dad has turned out to be wrong. They even released him from prison.

Min Ho: So why would Mr Shin say he was working for your dad.

Soo Hyun:  I don't know

Suddenly the tv in Bong Soon' s room is switched on and everyone glares at the person holding the remote control.

Won Ho:What!

Myung Soo: We were discussing something important here.

Won Ho: You can still talk .It was getting kinda boring for me.

Min Ho: Aish the kid has no manners.

Won Ho: Well look at that Soo Hyun you're on tv.

Myung Soo: Min Ho too!

Presenter:Yesterday Mr Baek was released from prison.His wife who he had been accused kidnapping was the one who cleared his name.And at the same time the Kim family also went to the police station to put their maid under arrest for poisoning them but she ended up being locked up for a hit and run on Mrs Baek.And now if you I have any information on this man (showing his picture) Doctor Wong call the police . Won Ho: Man I love drama

Soo Hyun:Well that's not important now.  Back to Mr Shin

Min Ho: We just need proof against him.Is she willing to testify.

Mi Nam :(suddenly appearing) No I'm not

Myung Soo: You're back

Mi Nam:  Yes i keep my word.I was just waiting for the right to appear.

Won Ho: I guess I was wrong about you

Min Ho: Why aren't you willing to testify he could go to prison.

Mi Nam:I already explained to Myung Soo .My case will be weak against him

Soo Hyun: Yeah she's right she only heard him.We might believe her but it's hard for the cops to.

Min Ho: So are we just going to stand around whilst he  walks free.We all know he's responsible for the state Bong Soon is in.

Won Ho: You should wait till you get solid proof.This is the man who escaped going to prison for attempted murder.Your case will be a walk in the park for him

Min Ho:Okay I hear what you're saying

Suddenly the fire alarm rings.

Myung Soo: Omo what's going?

Won Ho: Its a fire alarm

Some hospital workers enter the room  quickly evacuate them out of the room

Mi Nam: What about Bong Soon ?

Nurse:We'll take care of the patients

The all exit the hospital with other visitors and staff members .They all wait outside whilst the firefighters enter the hospital.A couple minutes later  Won Ho spots a suspicious man coming outside the hospital. He keeps on staring at the man who's taking off his cap and gloves charging towards the a car.

Won Ho: Wait a minute isn't that ..

Myung Soo: What are you talking about?

Won Ho: (pointing towards him)That man he looks familiar .

They all look towards the man

Min Ho: Isn't that...

Soo Hyun: Dr Wong!

Soo Hyun runs towards him and tackles him grabbing the attention of everyone outside .Suddenly a crowd forms around them and as Soo Hyun is about to throw his  first punch the police stop him and cuff Dr Wong. They search him for weapons but only find a vile with an unknown substance

Won Ho: Why is he here.If I were him I'd be hiding.

Mi Nam: Maybe he had something left here.

Myung Soo: Bong Soon!

Myung Soo runs into the hospital where the firefighters are exiting  .The gang follows him too.He arrives  and  Bong Soons readings are off the charts .He removes her drip as she's about to go into shock Doctor Jung rushes in to help .

The Boys and Mi Nam wait again for Bong Soon as the doctors check on her .As everyone else reenters the hospital the Kim's arrive with Mr Shin. The fire was a false alarm.

As the Kim's and Mr Kim walk towards their room Won Ho spots them.He warns Mi Nams and she walks away in the opposite direction.

Mrs Kim:Who's that .(looking at a distant Mi Nam)

Won Ho: I don't know.

Mr Kim just folds his hand into a fist .Its evident he wants to follow her

B.S mom:What's going on here?  I saw firefighters and police outside.

Min Ho: Something horrible .

B.S dad:What?

Min Ho :I don't even know how to tell you.

Myung Soo: We tried calling you.

B.S mom: Our phones were switched off.Wait did something happen to our princess. Why are you waiting outside the room.Where are the police guards.

Won Ho: They've taken Dr Wong to prison

B.S dad:Dr Wong!

Soo Hyun: Yes he's the one who rang the fire alarm ring.And ummm...

B.S mom: What!

Suddenly the doctor comes out of Bong Soons room.

Doctor Jung: Mr and Mrs Kim you're finally here.We've been trying to reach you.

B.S dad:What's going on?

Doctor Jung: Well Dr Wong tried poisoning your daughter .But luckily this Myung Soo got to her just in time.She only got a little poison in her system which we managed to get rid of.

B.S mom: So is she fine?

Doctor Jung: Well thanks to  the poor attempt from Dr Wong your daughter got that push to fight for her life and now she's awake.

Myung Soo: What!

Soo Hyun: No way

Min Ho: For real!

B.S mom: Can we see her now.

Doctor Jung: Well yes but she's  still a bit weak .She's currently  sleeping  .You can see her when she wakes up.

B.S dad:(happy )Okay well wait for her.

A couple minutes later..

Won Ho: Where did the old man disappear to?

B.S mom: I don't know he was right here a couple minutes ago

The Boys just looks at each other suspicious of Mr Shin.

A couple hours later a nurse exits Bong Soons room

Nurse :She's up

They all charge towards her room and there she is eyes wide open ,face still pale and she just stares at them.

B.S mom: (tearing up)Dear

Bong Soon :Who are you people?
