Those conspiracies...

I stayed up the rest of the night taking care of Newt.

I changed the blankets and some other things on the bed and stayed close to her to protect her in case someone else tried to hurt her.

Time passed and the sun came up.

Right after I wiped up the blood from the floor and burned the body, I heard a sweet voice behind me.

"Awhh, where am I?"

"You're still in my house."

"Your house?"

I was sure Newt was now having flashbacks from yesterday, because her whole face turned red as soon as she took a little time to think about what had happened.

"Aah, sorry, I don't know what got into me?" She said and bowed.

"Don't worry about it, you were under the effect of the aphrodisiac."

Although I can't deny that she seemed very experienced. Now that I think about it, when we did it, there was no blood. That means she wasn't a virgin?

"Newt, since I saved you, I want you to tell me what is going on in return. Who are these people and what happened to your sister?"

"I think I owe you an explanation. Well..."

And just like that, I learned that Newt was the second child of the second richest man in town.

But her mother died a few days after she was born, and her father remarried a woman from another wealthy family.

And she succeeded. She hired assassins to attack her on her way back. Newt heard all this as she passed by her new mother's room.

But she didn't succeed because Newt would be the next to inherit the family's treasures. So she hired assassins again to get rid of her.

But because she was already at Nascend Body Realm ordinary assassins could not kill her, and because she was already married to the young lord of the city. It seems that they wanted to use the aphrodisiac to make her annul the marriage.

That one was my conclusion from what I had heard.

"You have had a really hard time," I said, patting her on the head.

"I am sorry I got you into all of this."

"Don't worry, I'll protect you. But first we have to go to your house because they probably already took a picture of us. But don't worry, leave everything to me."

I made her the exact same clothes she had worn yesterday as I put hers in the washing machine.

And yes, I did make a washing machine.

All the while, she held on to the blanket to cover her naked body. Probably out of instinct, since I had already seen her naked.

I got dressed too and we both left the house.

"Where is your house?" I asked.

"It's next to the central pavilion of the city."

"Okay, hold me tight."

She came closer to me and grabbed my hand. I could see her blush, but I said nothing.

Now that she trusted me, I could use my strength freely. But I will only use my physical strength because I don't want to accidentally destroy the planet.

That would have a bad effect on my reputation.

So I used my teleportation ability to take us there immediately.

"Oh, what was that? How did we get here? Weren't we just in your house a moment ago?" She exclaimed.

"Yeah, but I teleported us here."

"Teleported? Are you in the Heavenly Immortal Realm?"

"Well, sort of."

Suddenly, the guards who were there surrounded us with their lances.

"Identify yourselves." One of them said loudly.

Newt stepped forward and said, "I am Newt Yohnen, my father's second child."

But upon hearing this, none of the guards moved an inch.

"I'm sorry, young lady, but you no longer belong to this family. Capture the intruders!" The man roared.

Aah, I knew from the beginning that they would all work with this evil woman.

But that means I can beat them.

"Homare, stay back, I'll take care of them."

"Ookay." I said and took a step back.

The guards attacked her, not caring in the least if Newt would be hurt.

Newt looked like she could handle those guys, so I just stayed back and watched the fight.

But after a while, I noticed a person dressed in the clothes of an assassin rushing towards Newt at high speed.

His cultivation level was higher than Newt's, so she couldn't even see him coming toward her.

So I had to intervene.

With a speed that made him seem motionless, I approached him and hit him with the same force I had hit the other guy with yesterday.

And although I didn't use my cultivation powers, one slap was enough to knock him against the wall from my left side.

And as quickly as I had appeared in front of him, I returned to my position.

It seems that Newt sensed something, because she turned to me as soon as I returned and asked me if everything was all right.

I nodded in agreement, and she continued her fight.

I didn't understand it at first, but for some reason I feel like my cultivation powers are at a higher level after having sex with Newt.

"Stop it, all of you. Who dares touch my daughter?" An intimidating voice said.

I turned my head and saw a middle-aged man coming out of the mansion in front of me.

His appearance was majestic, and from his clothes I could tell that he was the master of this house and Newt's father.

Newt stepped closer to him and said, "Father..."

But before she could finish her sentence, the man gave her a slap on the cheek.

"With what face do you dare to come here? Do you know what misfortune you have brought upon us? Two days before your wedding you go and have sex with this unknown person?" He exclaimed, pointing at me.

I just smiled and waved at him.

"I already told you that I don't like the young lord and I will not be the means to bind you to the king."

"You little..." He said, getting ready to slap Newt again.

But unfortunately for him, I had gotten a little bit agitated by his behaviour, so I teleported behind him and kicked his legs, causing him to fall to his knees.

"That's a good position for you to be in," I said with a laugh.

"Who do you think you are?" He asked me with an intimidating look.

"I am the one who can destroy your house with a snap of my fingers."

"Cut the crap, you little piece of shit!" He shouted, getting ready to stand up.

But I grabbed him by the shoulder and pushed him to the ground.

"I don't think I gave you permission to get up."

"Let go of me or your family will suffer the consequences."

"My family, huh? Good thing for me I don't have one. But still, you just threatened my family, I think that calls for a little punishment.

I snapped my fingers and a small meteorite fell down, shattering the house behind me.

"Y-you, what did you do?"

"I just destroyed a small house. I think you have enough money to build a new one, don't you?"

"Just wait until the city lord comes, and you'll wish you'd never set foot in this house."

"Oh yeah? I am interested in this city lord. When will he come?"

"You fool, look ahead."

I raised my head and saw a whole convoy standing in front of the gate of the house.

And in front of them all was a person I had seen before.

It was the guy I had beaten the day before.

"Ha, this is going to be fun."
