Chap-29 Meeting with dad

The full moon night was on the day of my birthday. I could get holy water from the temple which was in the town, now all that was left was Jennete's hairs. I only had 4 days before I had to perform the ritual, moreover, I even need Athancius's blood. How would I get these? Aha! I remember that Jennete and Ijekiel along with some servants goes to the market in the lovely princess. But Jennete gets lost, I think some summer festival was going on at that time, hence they came to the eastern territory. Great. I can get many things if I 'accidentally' meet Jennete and Ijekiel. But what excuse should I give to Athancius?

It was night and I could see the beautiful Cresent moon. I was wondering wheather tricking every one around me was a good idea or not? I wanted to know the answer. I wanted to meet my adoptive dad, who helped me get rid of that burgundy haired punk. He was my father who stayed with me for a short term of 5 years, but still, he taught me something that no body taught me anywhere in my past life, being with loved ones...

I miss you dad. I wish that you would be here today to answer to my this question. I want to meet you. Please god! I need a miracle...

Suddenly a big warm hand came on my head. Dad or father? Dad won't come right, so let it be fath-

I turn around to see the spirit of my dad. I try calling out dad, but couldn't as I was busy crying, I leapt on to him to hug him, but as soon as I did that the spirit vanished and father was seen. I hugged him instead. I knew it was my hallucination, but still I was overtaken by my feelings, I'm so pathetic...

I cried for some time.

"Are you all right?"

"Yes." My eyes were swollen from crying. Why was it that of all the times, I saw dad now, was he telling me to just continue what I was doing, or did he come to stop me? I was in a mess. Just what did that hallucination meant? Was it a good thing or a bad one? How will I find out?

The answer didn't last for long. That night, I saw a dream about my dad.

'Hey wake up idiot '  geez... is this what you say to a child whose sleeping?

' you just eat and sleep all day. I said get up. ' geez father, you have already made my life hell in the day, what's up with nagging in the night too.

'fine then don't blame me. ' a cold breeze blew over my face, but it's summer, how come. Soon water started to fall on my face too. Just wtf is happening? Next was ice. Its amer of winter.

"Just stop it old geezer "

But to my surprise, it was not father, it was dad, who let me go at the cost of his life.

"Just what are you..."

'Jennete would be going to thearket tomorrow in the afternoon. You wanted to remove her memories right? So take it. Would save time to investigate. But... If you do it, a huge calamity will befell.  My time is up bye.'

"Wait. Dad"

Just what was that? A dream a reality, I woke up startled. My dress was wet and I still felt cold. It was not a dream. He was dad, who came to help me. But what was the calamity he was talking about? What? Can't he explain in detail? Dad...

THE HELL... HE'S ALWAYS IN HURRY. THAT DAMNED BRAT! I DON'T WANNA CONCERN MY SELF OVER HIM. GOOD NIGHT.

And I got to sleep.
