Last night a few hours after Ella killed the intruder...

"He should've reported back two hours ago!" A man with brown hair that had a few white strains showing could be seen slamming the desk.

The man had a distress look on his face in the dimly lit office, as he paced back and forth.

"Did he fail? But how does that make sense he is a Advanced Stage Elementalist for Ilerus sake!" The man angrily pushed all the papers on his desk off in a fit.

"D-Did he fail... But they wouldn't be able to get anything out of him." His face showed fear, but he chuckled nervously to try and hide the dread that was building up.

"He wouldn't dare to try anything with his daughter under my roof..." Trying to comfort himself but his face paled as he left his office.

Feeling that he was caught and in as his desperation kicked in and the dread took over, he ran out the hall and ran until he reached a door that had a title on it that was labeled 'General'. Taking a moment to catch his breath and make himself look a bit presentable he combed his hair with his hand as he knocked on the door.

"This better be important."

A cold voice came from beyond the door. When the man heard this his choked a little bit but gathered himself together while waiting for permission to enter.

"Come in."

The cold voice echoed again beyond the door. Getting the permission, he entered the room as he gazed at the handsome looking youth that was staring straight at him with unflinching cold eyes.

His unique hair color with it being a reddish-purple gave him a exotic feel and with the scar it added a bit of danger to the man. While the brown haired man with white strips had a look of distress as he hurriedly unloaded his situation while having a pleading look the whole time as he explained the situation.

"So that is why Prince Soleil that I require your assistance to deal with the cause of my failed agent." The man said finishing his story. He took a nervous gulp seeing the un moving figure of the Prince

and spoke up since there was a long break of silence.

"So can you d-"

"You did what Councilman Jamius?" Soleil said in a tone filled with anger as he stared daggers into the brown haired man

"W-Well you-r majesty I know that you are already guarantied the throne in terms of everything from being a dual elementalist, your achievements, and talent for your age. But I just wanted to be sure no variables stop you in your way."

Jamius said as sweat started to come out of his pores as he staggered a bit walking backwards.

"Now why did you think that planning a assassination attempt on the first of its kind affinity holder was the smartest decision? Did I ask you to do this?"

Soleil then got up off his chair and walked slowly towards Jamius who now had his back against the door, and was now shaking.

"Or did you just think that my youngest brother could actually pose a threat, when he has not showed a single sign for ambition except for fathers acknowledgment?"

"When did you start acting on your own, without my permission?" He said as angered seeped into his voice before stopping in front of him.

Jamius was shaken by the fierce glint in Soleil's eyes, even though his voice was relevantly calm his body language said otherwise.

"I-" Jamius then felt a cloth on his face as he realized that Soleil has placed his hand on his cheek, He held his breath seeing him this close.

"Jamius tell me when did we start trying to kill children, hmmm?" Soleil said a tone voided of emotion.

"Sor-"

But before Jamius could finish a mixture of fire and lighting took half of his face leaving a burnt crisp as it his lifeless body dropped to the ground. Soleil stared at the body silently before letting out a long sigh.

"Hopefully this doesn't make too much of a problem."

Looking at the corpse and feeling a headache approaching, he shook his head slightly.

"I hope this is enough to bury any grudge that may sprout between me and that younger brother of mine."

Soleil scoffed before giving one last look at the now lifeless Royal Council Man with a slight downcast expression unlike his usual cold one,

"I hope father recognizes that this wasn't my fault..." Soleil sighed as he turned his gaze out the window that gave a view to the palace gate in the distant.
