We walked into the volleyball gym only for our hopes to be crushed.

'What is he doing here?' I think to myself, and when I look at Akina for answers she was just as shocked as I was.

We watched as he did a couple more jump serves before finally realizing we were there.

"What do you have a staring problem, if you take a picture it will last longer." Kageyama remarks and I shake my head

"I was just wondering how slow your jump serve is compared to mine," I say while I watch a smirk appear on his face

"I think you're talking too big for your height." Kageyama teases causing me to become more annoyed.

"Y/N, I think we are in the wrong gym," Akina says before I could say anything, and I looked back at Kageyama before looking at her

"Come on let's go, I wouldn't want to be in the same gym as him anyways," I say while I make my way towards the door, and Akina followed behind me.

"He gets on my nerves," I complain to Akina while a short boy quickly runs past us, while we make our ways towards the girl's volleyball gym.

We open the gym doors and this time we are greeted by a girl with short hair.

"You two must be the first years." The girl says happily and we both nod before taking turns introducing ourselves.

"Hello my name is Kim Akina, and I'm a setter," Akina said with a bow

"Hi, I'm L/N F/N, and I play the position of an Ace," I say with a bow

"Hello, my name is Yui Michimiya. I'm the team captain. Over there-" She says pointing at 2 girls "Those are 3rd years, Mao Aihara and Chizuru Sasaki." She says then points at 3 girls warming up.

"That's Moe Kikuchi, Manami Aoki, and Rink Sudou they are second years." Yui finishes up and smiles at us.

"I'm so glad you've decided to come to join." She says then another 3rd year walks over to us

"I've seen you two before"

"What do you mean Mao?" Yui asks

"We saw them last year at the volleyball tournament, remember? Your team made it pretty far, how come you choose Karasuno and not some school with a better reputation?" Mao asks and Akina smiled before answering

"It has been our dream to play at Karasuno together," Akina said and I added

"Karasuno is actually the reason why we started playing volleyball," I said and Mao's eyes widened

"Really, how long have you guys played together?" She asks and I think a bit before answering

"I really don't know, maybe since elementary school," I say and Yui nods

"Wow, that's a long time." She says then adds "You guys should get changed, I'm really curious to see you play up close."

"Um, about that... I have to go and move into my new apartment so I won't be joining practice today." I say and Yui pouts

"Well, I guess we will have to see you play tomorrow," Yui says and I smile in return

"Thank you, I will definitely be here tomorrow." I say with a bow then add "Do we have morning practice?"

"Um, yea sure! We can start at 6." Yui says and I nod

"Okay! I will be going now." I say with a wave before leaving the gym.

"Now to move into my apartment."

"Mom I will be fine, I can finish unpacking on my own. You need to go or you will miss your flight." I say but my mom doesn't move an inch

"Are you sure?" She says finally standing up and I nod

"I will be fine, call me when you get off your flight," I say while a smile and my mom quickly grabs her things.

"I really am going to be late!" She said realizing the time and I sigh as I watch her put on her shoes

"I will call you in a bit. Be safe, and if you need anything know I'm one call away." She says while slipping on her shoes

"Yes, I know. Bye mom I love you." I say and she looks back at me before opening the door

"Bye, and be safe. Make sure you lock the door after I leave. I love you too." She says while quickly rushing out of the apartment and leaving me alone.

I close the door behind her and lock the doors before walking into the main room.

'Its place is big for 800 a month.' I think to myself while I wonder what I am going to do with the extra bedroom.

I start to take some of the boxes into one room when I heard someone at the front door.

"Did you forget something, mom?" I asked while I walk into the main room, only to meet the dark eyes of someone else.

"K-Kageyama?"
