Kate came to class holding Raymond's tumbler after skipping the first lesson. Kate's puffy and red eyes were noticed by Tommy and Rena.
"Did you cry, Kate?" Rena inquired.
"Just a bit. I didn't expect to cry over something so insignificant."
Rena tenderly held Kate, as Tommy watched from a distance. Kate then encouraged Tommy to hug. Tommy, too, hugged.
"Did you drink the whole of his tumbler?" Tommy inquired.
"Yeah, but the tumbler's contents are Ice Americano, my favorite drink."
"Ooh." Their reaction was typical.
Line!
Kate checks her phone and discovers that it belongs to Foun.
Foun: You're not sad anymore, right?
Kate: No.
Foun: That's good, and I want to say something.
Kate: What do you want to say?
Foun: If you're curious, come to the café tomorrow night.
Kate: Huh?
Kate is perplexed.
Rena, who observed Kate and Foun talk and was instantly persuaded that Foun intended to convey his emotions to Kate, wondered why Foun wanted to see her at the café.
"Ah? Rena, there's no way."
"Kate, it's possible. Just look at him; he wants to talk to you tomorrow. It's referred to as expressing sentiments."
Kate, who was unsure about Rena's comment, attempted to remain upbeat and assured Foun that the day they would meet would be great.
"I'm sure he's just excited to meet me. He has no meaning for me."
Rena can only accept Kate's response.
Rena and Kate are taking a break and headed to the canteen to get some food. Delon summoned Kate as she arrived at the canteen.
"What's the matter, Delon?" Delon was questioned by Kate.
Delon handed Kate a letter "Here's a letter from one of my friends. He requested that his letter be read aloud at home, so you're curious about what it's like."
Rena approached Kate and questioned, "Did you grasp Delon's intention?" Kate just nodded "Delon has a thing for you, don't you think? What made him give you a letter?"
"Delon was simply handed a letter from a buddy, which he subsequently gave to me. The key is that he stated that the letter was from a friend, not himself."
"Ah, yes, I see."
"Yeah, so don't think about anything odd," Kate replied, a letter in her shirt pocket.
They then return to class and take a break.
You can skip class.
~~~
Kate was resting in her bed, fiddling with her smartphone.
Line!
Rena: Kate.
Kate: What?
Rena: Have you read Delon's letter yet?
Oh my goodness! That letter has slipped my mind.
Kate: Rena, not yet. I swear I didn't forget. Wait a second, I'd want to read the letter first.
Rena: Say yes if it's romantic...
Kate: Rena, it won't be romantic. Believe me when I say...
Kate placed Delon's note on her desk. When you open it, you'll see a note from Foun.
Foun? How did Delon get to meet Foun?
"Hello, Kate. How are you doing? I just wanted to say something to you. Don't forget to go to the café tomorrow. I'll be waiting for you.
P.S. Come on, surely you hope the letter is romantic, huh ?"
"Who the hell is he?" With a little laugh, Kate said.
Kate: Rena, I've already read the letter. And the letter is written by Foun.
Rena: What? That's a letter from Foun? How is it even possible?
Kate: Rena, I'm not sure.
Rena: So, what did he have to say?
Kate: Just remind me to go to the café the next day.
Rena: It's hilarious.
Kate: You know what I mean? I assumed that letter was about trivial matters.
Rena: Kate, by the way...
Kate: What?
Rena: Can I ask you a question?
Kate: What do you wish to inquire about?
Rena: How did you and Foun first 'meet'? Even if you're just conversing with him, avoid eye contact.
Kate: I first 'met' him when he handed me his ID line at the café when he wanted to give me a receipt.
Rena: He gave the ID line where?
Kate: Do you know what kind of paper is generally disguised by the waiter and placed on the visitor's table? The ID line, on the other hand, is hidden under the white paper.
Rena: Huh? Is he not using fresh paper?
Kate: Rena, no. I just saw the lettering because I was bored while playing on my phone.
Rena: You instantly inserted the ID when you found it?
Kate: Yes.
Rena: You're not upset with him because he was assigned an id line?
Kate: Angry? Why am I so irritated when I'm simply handed an id line from a new guy?
Rena: Just be cautious, Kate. Who knows, he may be a seducer.
Kate: So, do you have any reservations about Foun?
Rena: Yes.
Kate merely stayed silent, and it turns out she was also responsible for why she wanted to obtain an id line from an unknown person in the first place.
Kate: Rena, Tomorrow night I will truly meet Foun in person.
Rena: Be careful, Kate.
Kate switches off her smartphone and the lights in her room. Thinking about tomorrow would be her first encounter with Foun.
