Chapter 3: Deal

Since Cali had grown up in a modest environment _not to say underprivileged_ she very quickly knew the value of work and effort. This allowed her to obtain a scholarship, which led her to an elite high school, surrounded by socialite's offspring. Even though she felt like a fish out of water, she put up with it, even when some ridiculed her because of her humble origins, it didn't matter to her, even when she was nicknamed Calirella _ a contraction of Cali and Cinderella _ for various reasons, she didn't really care! but, she got emotional when Neil, her lover, was mentioned.

At first, Cali was treated like an outcast in this school _she didn't give the fuck, by the way_ and only one person treated her normally, it was her occasional book mate. Cali and Neil hit it off over time during their chance encounters in the library and that's how love settled down little by little to the point where they had become inseparable; but not so inseparable since, in the end, Neil had to go study abroad due to certain family circumstances.

Since then, all contacts have mysteriously been severed, not only with Cali, but also with Klan, his best friend since childhood. Cali couldn't help but flinch when she heard:

"If you help me, I promise to call the intelligence services if needed to find Neil's coordinates"

As soon as she saw the two silhouettes approaching, Emma rushed towards the one whose silhouette and gait, she recognized even from afar.

"Klan!!…" she says happily, but quickly stopped in her tracks when she notices the girl next to him. Like a cat ready to pounce at the sight of a rival, in a harsh and hostile tone, she says "who is she"

"Emma, ​​she is my girlfriend." Klan said when standing behind Cali

"Hahaha!!" Emma chuckles like she's just been told the funniest joke there is, then, like an unexpected sea storm, she goes hysterical, "It's impossible, it can't be. be true !!… It's a lie!"

Cali and Klan were stunned by Emma's sudden change in mood. The stalker was clearly in denial. Even though she was right that Klan and Cali weren't in a relationship, she had to be made to understand that there was no hope between Klan and her and that, for her own psychological well-being.
