At a birthday boy's house

It was a cold and stormy night. The town was fully covered with dark clouds. The electricity of the town was cut off. I don't know why but this day was very strange than any other days that I have lived so far. I had a strange type of feeling. I was enjoying at my friend's house on the ocassion of his special day. It was my friend, Tom's 17th birthday. Me and four of my friends were about to stay at Tom's house that night. But I really had tons of strange kinds of thoughts and feelings and I was not able to stay there. I don't know what actually happened to me but I thought of leaving. I didn't let anyone know that I was going to leave.
