17 Eli Jang

In the morning, Jin woke up to the sound of his alarm. He quickly got out of bed and took a refreshing shower before getting dressed. He went downstairs to the dining room, where he saw Lee already eating his breakfast. Jin grabbed some food and sat down next to Lee.

"Good morning, Lee," Jin said cheerfully.

"Good morning, kid," Lee replied with a smile.

Jin enjoyed his breakfast with Lee, and after they were done, they headed to the car to wait for Rose.

It didn't take long for Rose to emerge from the mansion, and they all got into the car and drove to Jaewon High School.

As they entered the school grounds, Jin and Rose immediately caught everyone's attention. The students whispered and gossiped about them as they walked past.

"Look at them," one girl said to her friend.

"Why is Jin following Rose around?" another asked.

"I heard he's her bodyguard," someone replied.

"That's a shame. If only Jin wasn't Rose's bodyguard, we would have a chance to get closer to him," another girl remarked.

Jin and Rose ignored the chatter and made their way to their respective departments. When Jin arrived at the Fashion Department, he saw that Zack and his friends were already there. Jin ignored them and took his seat, waiting for class to start.

As they were waiting, Daniel walked in and sat down in his seat. Zack and his friends immediately began to insult Daniel other body and his mother, causing him to get angry.

"Hey, you guys, you've gone too far," Daniel said, trying to defend himself.

Jin watched from his seat as Zack kicked his table and stood up, towering over Daniel.

"Hey, you're f***ing funny, you know that," Zack sneered.

"Get up, you f***ing worm," he added, demanding that Daniel stand up and fight him.

The classroom fell silent as everyone watched the confrontation unfold. Jin remained calm and collected, knowing that it was best to let things play out on their own.

Suddenly, Jay stood up from his seat and walked towards Zack, gripping his arm tightly. Zack managed to break free from Jay's grip and threw a punch at Daniel, who easily dodged it.

Everyone was shocked to see Daniel dodge Zack's punch. Zack continued to throw punches at Daniel, but he kept dodging them.

Suddenly, Zack feinted a punch and tried to hit Daniel with his other hand. However, Daniel managed to catch Zack's fist.

The classroom erupted in astonishment as Daniel caught Zack's fist. Zack tried to punch him again, but Daniel dodged it and punched Zack in the abdomen, causing him to fall to the ground.

As everyone watched the fight, Jin couldn't help but think about something else. He knew that he had to keep an eye on Eli Jang, as it meant that Gun was still looking for him.

As the fight between Daniel and Zack unfolded, it caused a wave of commotion throughout the school, making Daniel the hot topic of discussion.

Everyone was talking about how he managed to dodge Zack's punches and counterattack, displaying incredible skill and agility.

As the school day ended, Jin headed over to the Beauty Department to pick up Rose. However, instead of going straight home, he told Rose to go ahead without him. "Why?" Rose asked.

"I want to go to Eli's place," Jin replied.

With Rose safely on her way, Jin searched for Eli. Finally, he spotted him in a nearby park and called out to him.

"What's up, Jin?" Eli asked as he turned to face him.

"Come with me for a moment," Jin said, leading Eli to a park bench.

Jin couldn't help but notice the capital "H" tattooed on Eli's forehead. He already knew the reason behind it, but he wanted to confront Eli about it anyway.

"What is that 'H' on your forehead?" Jin asked.

Eli was clearly taken aback. "What? I don't know what you're talking about," he stammered.

"Don't hide it. I know there's a tattoo on your forehead. What happened?" Jin persisted.

Eli was quiet for a moment before finally admitting, "I made a mistake, okay? But you don't need to intervene."

"Listen, even though we haven't seen each other in years, I still think of you as my little brother," Jin said.

Eli looked surprised by Jin's words. "I don't need your help," he said, standing up to leave.

But Jin wasn't ready to give up. "You know I can help you. I'm stronger than all of them," he said.

Upon hearing this, Eli smiled and then said, "No, you don't know who you're dealing with. He's beyond a monster. He's the one who created the monsters." He then continued walking.

Jin said, "If the one you meant is Gun, then don't worry about him." Eli stopped and turned around, his eyes wide.

"You knew about him?" Eli said. Jin smiled and said, "Aren't you curious where I spent the last couple of years? If you want to know, you can come with me, and I will show you."

Eli thought for a moment before nodding his agreement. Together, they headed off to Jin's mansion.

When they arrived, Eli was shocked. "You've been living here?" he asked, his anger and jealousy simmering just below the surface. "Calm down, Eli. It's not what you think," Jin said.

But Eli wasn't listening. "Do you know how much I suffered after you left me? Do you know how long I waited for you? After you left me, everything went to shit. You were living here? I thought I could trust you!" Eli shouted before running away.

Jin chased after him, but after five minutes of running, Eli had managed to lose him. He went home and cried, feeling utterly betrayed by Jin. "I thought I could trust you, but you left me like everybody else," he sobbed.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Eli quickly wiped away his tears and opened the door, only to see Jin standing there holding his daughter Yenna.

"This is your daughter, right? I just picked her up from daycare in case you forgot," Jin said.

Eli was instantly cautious and take Yenna from Jin's hand. "How do you know I have a daughter?" he asked, trying to hide Yenna behind him.

"Listen to my explanations first, then you'll understand why," Jin said.

After Jin explained what had happened over the last couple of years, Eli felt guilty for doubting him. "I'm sorry, Jin," he said, his head hanging low. Yenna reached up and touched her father's face.

"It's okay, Eli. I understand why you feel that way," Jin said. Eli lifted his head and took Yenna in his arms.

"It's okay Eli, I understand why you feel like that," Jin said, placing a comforting hand on Eli's shoulder. Eli lifted his head, his eyes filled with worry as he held his daughter Yenna in his arms.

Jin spoke , "Listen Eli, why don't you come with me? Come live in the mansion with us."

Eli's eyes widened in surprise, "Come with you?"

Jin nodded, a small smile on his face. "Yes, come with me. You won't be a bother to anyone, and Yenna will be safe there instead of leaving her in daycare. You see how I can pick her up just by mentioning your name? She could be kidnapped if you're not careful."

The words hit Eli hard, Eli's heart clenched at the thought of his daughter's safety. He knew Jin was right. He couldn't afford to take any risks with Yenna's well-being.

and he paused for a moment to consider his options. "But I don't want to impose on you or anyone else there," he finally replied.

Jin shook his head, "You won't be imposing. In fact, I insist. I'll take care of everything, including rent, and I'll even recommend you for a job."

Eli's eyes widened in disbelief, "You'll do all of that?"

Jin nodded, "Of course. Pack your stuff, and we'll leave as soon as possible."

Eli nodded, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders. He quickly packed his belongings, and before he knew it, he and Yenna were in a cab heading towards the mansion. The thought of starting a new life with his daughter and having the support of Jin brought a sense of excitement and hope that he hadn't felt in a long time.
