It was him.

Yaorui did not know why, she didn't realize it sooner, but after hearing the transfer student's introduction, everything just clicked into place.

The person that was standing in front of the class was an old friend she met in preschool.

To be more specific, her childhood sweetheart.

While Yaorui stared after An Samuel with a newfound interest, many of the male species bore holes into his back. There was one in particular who had an extra deadly stare.

Hu Angli had hoped that Yaorui would have forgotten about his former love rival. He made a silent promise to keep his guard up against the cockroach, especially when it was lurking around his Empress.

"To begin today's class, we will go around introducing ourselves followed by school regulations, rules, and what will be expected of you, and then finally, the curriculum for this year," Teacher Shi announced.

Teacher Shi was both a Chinese Literature teacher and an English teacher. She would be teaching Class A and B students, both subjects but in different time slots. Her name was legendary in the educational world, she was awarded the Best International Teacher's award four times in a row, and had an outstanding class record for six consecutive years.

"One last announcement for the class before you leave, this year marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the IAKGY's launch," The teacher paused for a moment to allow the wave of applause to settle, "To celebrate this occasion, the board members' have decided to open a new campus on a newly discovered land. Only fifty of the 2000 students attending this school can attend. If you wish to participate in this opportunity, there will be a signup notification sent to your school pads at precisely noon, please read all the information regarding this tonight, before asking any more questions. Class dismissed."

As Yaorui left the class with her friends in tow, she couldn't help but send one glance at her former sweetheart.

An Samuel, Yaorui had to admit, he was going to be handsome in the future(not that he isn't already), he had a skinny build, but his flower boy features gave him an indescribable beauty. He still sported a bet of baby fat on his cheeks that gave him a cute and innocent vibe.

"Yaorui?" Gebao's melodic voice rang in her ears.

"Hmm,"

"What's next on your guys' schedules?"

"Engineering for me," Sheng Rong said, she was always about speed. Right now, Sheng Rong was working on a pair of gliders that would allow her to move freely on water.

"I have advanced Medical lessons with Teacher Williams," Gebao was very soft-hearted, her soft-heartedness resulted in her wish to save lives regardless of species. But don't be deceived, being the younger sister of a world-renowned entertainment agency allowed her to pick up a few useful psychologic skills as well as superb acting abilities from different artists. "You?"

"Korean, then German." Yaorui was born a hyperpolyglot [1], by now she was able to fluently understand about 13 languages, not including the ones she had just mentioned. Yaorui was also able to read and write in them except for sign language and Korean sign language.

Her other classes consisted of advanced academic courses and psychology.

As the group reached the elevators, both Gebao and Sheng Rong entered the elevator going down, while Yaorui went up.

Her class was located on the fourth floor, where the fourth years' studied. Because, she was a hyperpolyglot, her level of speech was higher than the other kids in her grade, hence, she was promoted to the fourth year language classes.

"Good morning." That was her new Korean teacher, Lee Hye Seok, more formally known as, Teacher Lee.

He was currently standing outside his classroom greeting every one of his new, or old, students entering.

As she entered the classroom, she was pleased to see how the room was decorated to be more traditional and representing the Korean culture. The tables were low to the ground and very wide and spacious for a desk. The seats were more like small beanbags or pillows. The walls were also traditionally styled, there were faint yellow lights that emitted from the thick paper-like walls making it more lifelike. There was also a faint herbal scent that she remembered was able to help and calm and focus the brain.

Yaorui sat down in her assigned seat and checked her Weibo [2] account.

*You have one new message*

A notification popped up the instant she signed in.

"Umm, hi," She recognized the voice immediately, "It's Angli, in case you didn't read my username, uhh text me? I guess?" There were about three seconds of silence before his voice came back on. "That was terrible. Let me try again. How about...Hey, this is Angli, the guy that you grounded? No, that's worse. Ummm... wait! Shit! Don't send it! Do-,"

A smile unknowingly spread across Yaorui's face listening to the clumsy boy's antics.

Not knowing what to send back, she sent a simple greeting with a smiley face.

Yaorui looked beside her, having felt someone sit next to her.

"Hi, I'm Samuel, in case you don't remember me. We met when we were younger, you know before I moved to America?"

"Hmm," she hummed, her face morphing into a cold and detached expression as she turned back towards the front. "I remember," Her voice as icy as the expression on her face.

"Are you okay? After what happened?"

She didn't answer him, instead, she reminded him that class was going to begin soon.

As class began, Samuel had given up trying to talk to her, much to Yaorui's relief. She found his voice irritating and annoying even though the fourth year girls' were swooning over him.

Teacher Lee proceeded with the basic introductions. then handed out test pads to the class for assessing.

"Please head down to the cafeteria for your afternoon meal," A voice spoke into the intercom.

"Alright, class dismissed."

When Yaorui exited the classroom, the hallway was already packed with students, all heading towards the elevator or stairs.

"Yaorui!" She has forcefully turned around and led to an empty hallway.

Like that could stop her.

When she entered the empty hallway, she gripped onto the other guy's wrist with both hands and using all her strength flipped him over her shoulder. This provided her with a quick escape as she blended back into the sea of navy clothes.

By the time Yaorui got to the cafeteria, her feelings of uneasiness had faded.

Who would attack her in a school with 2000 kids in it?

She made her way towards her usual table and found that all her friends were waiting for her. Song Gebao was sandwiched in between Ran Jiexu and Sheng Rong.

Her cousin Zhangmin was there as well, looking like a sore thumb. She hadn't been there that morning due to her training and was utterly confused.

Angli was seated beside an empty seat, and Mu Jian Nu, who much to her disgust, had an uninvited female partner with him. She recognized the female to be a first-year, specifically the lying thief.

"Mu. Jian. Nu." She said, "Please pack up and leave. Be sure to take that first year back to where she belongs. No one is allowed here without my permission, and you just lost that privilege." In a school filled with smart people, they tended to be more scheming. The girl, clinging onto Mu Jian Nu just happened to be a special schemer.

"What? Angli aren't you gonna help me? I'm your friend right?"

"What she says goes."

Both Sheng Rong and Gebao were pleased to hear that. Gebao had been hesitant on confronting the pair and was glad to see Sheng Rong try, but Mu Jian Nu didn't listen.

"Yaorui, you can't just kick me out like that. That's unfair, I just brought a girl here to sit with us, what is the harm in that?"

"Did you hear him Gebao?" Sheng Rong laughed, "He thinks that this little first-year dog is innocent!"

"Mu Jian Nu, in case you didn't already know, I make the rules at this table, just because I let you sit here this morning, does not mean you have an equal saying. If I say out, you're out."

"I suggest you leave." With Yaorui here backing her, Gebao had gained enough confidence to send them out.

"Make me."

"Gebao, issue an announcement on the school forum. Mu Jian Nu and his little first-year dog, are hereby on the Li Family Blacklist." Yaorui had made sure to raise her voice, making sure that anyone surrounding them would hear.

In just a few seconds, the post was up. There was a picture of both of them with their names big and bold underneath. In the next two minutes, the whole school knew.

Being blacklisted by the Li Family practically meant that you were done for. Since Mu Jian Nu was a model for Next Top entertainment, aka, Song Gebao's older brother Song Guabo's company, he was blacklisted from the entertainment industry.

The girl's name was, Jiang Sai Mu, she came from the famous Jiang family, and was famous for being, beautiful, and innocent. Her family worked in the restaurant industry, her parents were bragger's and endlessly bragged about their daughter being accepted into the IAKGY school.

"Rui-er ah~," Xie Fanlong's gentle voice called for Yaorui.

Xie Fanlong was currently being princess carried, by her eldest brother Shen Hui, who was always overprotective of his future fiance, when in public.

Behind the pair was Long Ao her other brother in the fourth year.

"Put me down, Shen Shen," her sister in law tried to coax Shen Hui into letting her down.

"The floor is dirty."

"No kisses for the rest of the day." Hearing her new order, Shen Hui hastily put her down on the floor.

The moment her feet touched the floor, Fanlong scurried towards Yaorui, ignoring the sad puppy behind her.

"Why did you ban the two kids?"

Hearing her question, both Gebao, Zhangmin, and Sheng Rong jumped in to recount the whole story from what happened in the cafeteria the previous day till today.

While the three of them were recounting the story, Long Ao and Shen Hui both listened closely to their exaggerated version of the story, their faces darkening with each passing second.

"-And then he screamed at her for being unfair. He even touched her hand!"

"Then he said in a sarcastic rude voice,"

"What are you gonna do about it? You're just a useless spoiled princess,"

Even Angli, who was there when it happened, started to fume at their story. He had an unexplainable urge to strangle his friend.

To make things worse for Mu Jian Nu and Jiang Sai Mu, students were recording their version of the story.

"What is going on here?" A deep and commanding voice sounded.

"Teacher Gu! You have to help us! These people are being unreasonable and are bullying us!" Jiang Sai Mu's pleaded.

"She's lying!"

"Yeah! I have the video to prove it!" One of the students that were recording Gebao's and Sheng Rong's story walked up to him and replayed the video.

"Jiang Sai Mu, you have already been given three chances by me in one day. I will have no choice, but to expel you. Mu Jian Nu, because this is the first offence, you will be let off. If this happens again, I will put a report into your file."

And just like that, a student was expelled on the second day of school.

Suddenly a screeching shriek broke through the cafeteria.
