Chapter 5: Surge

David looked at the 'Wind shield' after that he looked at Akshay with an irritated expression and said 'Get out of my way!!' David formed a fist and used his powers to increase the force of his punch by 10times and then he punched Akshay's 'Wind shield' and completely shattered it! As that happened Akshay thought 'Damn it!' and due to the force of David's punch, Akshay had flown back and had hit a wall! Akshay had started to cough out blood. Raghav looked at being flown back and tried to go towards him. The number of people standing outside the building had increased and many people had stopped their pods and started to look at the commotion that was going on.

One of the people in the crowd said 'Shouldn't we call the SP(Superpowered Police)?' the other person said 'Have you lost your mind?! If we do that, we will never have a chance to go to Midgard. David's father is one of the Chief supervisors of the 'Planetary Immigration'. If we offend him then we are done for!" everybody got a bit serious after they heard what the other person had said and another person said 'Then that means even SP must be scared of him.' the other person said 'Exactly! This year the immigration process will start that's why no one will dare offend David.' After hearing those words everybody had decided to not say anything. David started laughing and Naina was just smiling and standing beside him. David looked at Raghav and asked 'Is that your friend?! A 'Beginner Level Materializer', huh?! Well, trash people will have trash friends.' Akshay was still coughing out blood and was severely in pain. Raghav looked at Akshay with concern and thought 'Damn it!! Why is this happening?! I didn't come here for this!! Even my best friend is injured I need to take him to a 'Healer' as soon as possible!'. David looked at Raghav not looking at him then he got angry and shouted 'You dare to ignore me??!!' Raghav looked towards David and then David started to punch Raghav continuously in the stomach and on the face. Raghav started to bleed and was in severe pain but he still had not fallen on his knees. David looked at Raghav and said 'A person like you dares to be persistent in front of me?!' David caught Raghav by the collar and picked him up. When Akshay looked at the sight he barely got up in an attempt to help Raghav but then he saw that his hands and legs were tied to the ground by some tree roots he looked at Naina and thought 'That's her power! She's a 'Floral Manipulator' but she was just a 'Beginner Level Manipulator' a week ago!! How did she reach the Intermediate Level?!'.

Naina looked at Akshay's face and understood what his confusion was and said 'You must be thinking how I reached the intermediate level in just a week, aren't you?' Akshay looked at Naina with visible shock, Naina looked at his expression, she smiled and said 'David gifted me the 'Beast Orb'(After the Nova Effect even animals, insects and plants got an orb embedded into them which mutated them into vicious monsters) of 'Queen Thevetia!'.

Everybody gets shocked after they had heard Naina's words, Akshay thought 'The beast orb of Queen Thevetia!! but that's an A-ranked Beast!!. After its consumption, she has jumped a level and I can also feel that in a month she will become an 'Advance Level Manipulator'!'. Everybody in the crowd started to say ' She consumed the orb of an A-ranked Floral Beast!!'

one of them said 'You're right and she's also considered as one of the poisonous beasts!!'. As the people were discussing among themselves, David had kicked Raghav in the stomach while he had caught Raghav by his collar because of which Raghav flew back and his suit and shirt were torn from him. Raghav had flown back and hit a wall, his head started bleeding and he was coughing out blood. Akshay looked at Raghav's condition and looked towards Naina and said 'Naina stop him!! David will kill Raghav!!' Naina looked at Akshay and said 'Why would I care?' Akshay looks at Naina in shock and asks 'What are you talking about?! He has always done everything he could've for you!! He always cared about you the most and anything he got from his job, even the beast orbs he got he gave all of it to you because he loved you!!' Naina looks at Akshay with an annoyed look and says ' The world has changed Akshay! As for whatever he has ever given me, those things were nothing but low-level garbage! If whatever he did for me was his best then he is way more worthless than I had even imagined!' Akshay gets shocked and does not say anything due to his shock!

David looks at Raghav and starts laughing 'So it's true you are worthless, aren't you?! At first, I thought that it was a lie but your Crystal orb doesn't even glow!!' a person in the crowd looked at the sight, he remembered something and said 'Now I remember!! This person's full name is Raghav Varma and he's called the Null-root!' another person inquired 'Null-root?! Do you mean the person who doesn't have any power?! I thought that it was just a rumour but someone like that really exists?!' another person said 'Look that person's Crystal orb is jet black! It's not glowing!!'. Naina looked at Raghav and said 'It's such a shame that the Gun Goddess' brother is such a worthless person!'. Everybody gets shocked 'He's the Gun Goddess' brother?!' another person says 'Wow! I never thought that the Gun Goddess will have such a worthless brother!'. David looks at Raghav and says 'Wow! So your sister is the Gun Goddess huh?! Well, I do have some beef with her! I guess I will take it out on you today!'. Raghav had an expressionless look on his face due to the shock and he was still in pain. David started to walk towards Raghav and said 'You know I did invite your sister to go to Midgard 2 years ago but your sister refused and I couldn't even touch her because of her husband but I heard that he died protecting you from the S-class Winged Lion!' David reached right in front of Raghav and said 'I guess I will have a taste of her after I kill you!' Raghav's eyes widened up and a surge of anger ran through him. David formed a fist and threw it towards Raghav but Raghav caught it by his left hand. When David saw Raghav that Raghav had caught his punch he was a bit taken aback and thought 'What?! How did this weakling catch my punch and why can't I use my powers right now?! What's going on?!. Everybody looked towards David and Raghav. Naina looks at David and asks 'What's wrong David?!'. David was looking at Raghav's Crystal orb and saw it glowing a little with a maroon coloured light and he thought 'How is this possible?!'. When he was thinking that Raghav looked at David and said 'Don't you dare touch my sister!!!' and then he punched David in the chest. David felt danger but for some reason, he was not able to use his power. After David got hit in the chest a big surge of energy from Raghav had flown and covered a 10km radius from him and the roots that held Akshay withered away like dust. and everybody in that range was knocked out due to the force of the energy surge!
