"He's taking too long in there." Elizabeth handed the sleeping Casper over to Noel and glanced at the bathroom, "I'd go check up on him."

"He'd be fine." Noel said with nonchalance.

"He's your brother." Elizabeth's brows furrowed in disbelief. How can he be so uncaring towards his own brother.

"I never told you that." Just like always, he didn't look her in the eyes, he just stared down at the sleeping child in his arms.

Elizabeth was perplexed, she massaged her temple gently with her other hand on her waist.

"It doesn't matter, I'd go check up on him now." She left without waiting for a reply from him.

"Caleb." She called, placing her ear on the door, "Caleb." She called again but there was no reply.

"Don't die in my apartment. Goddammit." Elizabeth cursed underneath her breath, her concern for the young man was concealed beneath those words. She then pushed the door with all the strength she could muster.
