Clip...Clop...

His black eyes reflected the sun's rays through the window, and his white skin glistened in the light.

His average height and elegant body language were enticed by the short brown hair that was rubbing and overlapping in the puff like a crackling fire.

"Why are we traveling to the 3rd Kingdom, Your Majesty?" Ayrton addressed the man in front of him with a commanding attitude while seated in the carriage.

"Ayrton, my son, I'm going to meet my brothers and your kin." The king answered from his position in front of Ayrton.

The domineering man's face was wrinkly, he had a small beard with white hair hidden behind his dark black hair, and his outfit was stunningly opulent.

"There must be another explanation. I'm sure of it. You never would have come this far just to visit your relatives. "

His face showed a snicker. The king mumbled, "You're quick-witted."

"What's the reason, then?"

"Do you know that our six brothers have six kingdoms in this land of Dragmire, my son?"

"Yes, Your Majesty, I am aware that each of the six kingdoms has a unique type of magical ability, and ours is the most powerful of them all."

"Without a doubt, we all six brothers decided that we should share our talents to make our continent stronger."

"Can that be done?"

"My brother, whose kingdom we are entering, has the intended solution to your predicament."

"Is that so?"

The king, who had been staring outside, seemed distracted for a little while by silence. "Are the successors of other kingdoms coming?" Ayrton enquired.

"No, only my brothers are, but you may meet a special one among the successor of them!"

knock...knock.

The Legionnaire informed the king, "Your Majesty, we'll reach there shortly."

The king responded with a smile, "Very good."

The carriage was moving forward as it entered the population area of the 3rd kingdom.

The sun's reflection on the crowds of people, the assortment of booths and shops, and the designated space for houses created a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Holding down the joy, Ayrton continued, "Your majesty, the inhabitants of this kingdom are leading a tranquil existence like our kingdom's people."

The proud king said, "That's because my brother is the kindest monarch I've ever seen in my life."

"He must be a magnificent king."

"Open the gates, the king from the 1st kingdom has come," the guard yelled from the watch post of the palace's hatch.

The carriage continued without stopping, past the large gates of the palace and the subsequent large green arenas of the castle until it arrived at the main palace's staircases.

The King and Ayrton exited the carriage together. Looking over the other carriages, King said, "Seems like my other brothers arrived before here."

The third brother caught the king's attention as he descended the stairs with several attendants and carried a pleasant smile on his face.

Ayrton was surveying the exterior of the castle when he noticed a stunning man coming down the steps. He had blonde hair and eyes the color of an angel, and his attire was fairly conservative.

"My light is coming," the King said joyfully.

In response to the man reaching out to them, Ayrton relaxed his body and smiled.

The man hugged Ayrton's father and remarked, "Nicolas, it's been so long."

Nicolas hugged Carlos back and muttered, "It's good to see you again, Carlos."

Both lords were experiencing a moment of reunion. After a while, the brothers withdrew their hugs from one another as Ayrton smiled at them.

Nicolas replied, pointing to Ayrton, "This is my son."

To shake hands, Ayrton held out his hand. "I'm Ayrton, heir to the 1st kingdom, and I just turned 19 this year, Your Majesty," Ayrton said in a formal tone.

Carlos shook down his offered hand with a grin, masking his emotions. "I assume that I am aware of Nicolas's sparkling afterlife. How quickly time passes? You're an adult now, "Carlos said.

Carlos then smiled in response to Ayrton's beaming smile and motioned for him to enter.

Crossing the stairway "Others are present?" Nicolas enquired.

Sending a door-opening signal to the sentry. "Yeah, they're all here," Carlos answered.

A pair of enormous stewards made a bow in front of them as soon as they walked through the main door into the big hall.

"Carlos, isn't this a little too eventful?" He made fun of Nicholas.

Carlos abruptly said, "No, it's according to my brother's worth."

Carlos received a crisp hand squeeze from Nicolas to show his thanks, while Ayrton was looking nearby and taking in the surroundings' ornate scales.

Ayrton snatched a glimpse as the door opened and he saw the Queen welcoming the other four lords who had arrived earlier. The three of them took many twists here and there before coming to a stop in front of it.

Carlos smiled and motioned for one of his men, blocking Ayrton's view of the chamber, and added, "You might want to take a tour of the palace."

"But I want to, Your Majesty!" Ayrton spoke out loud.

For you, it's Uncle. Why don't you go meet my son? "

"But."

"I'm sure he's in his room."

"But, Uncle."

Upon hearing Ayrton's calling him "uncle," Nicolas smiled affectionately at him.

"Do as he says." Standing next to Carlos, Nicolas said in a flinty tone.

Ayrton made a bow and turned around without saying anything further, then he followed the slave who obeyed Carlos' instructions.

Nicolas and Carlos stared into each other's eyes as they entered the room as if they were concealing something.

The moment the door shut, Queen stated, "Let's begin our meeting."

...

The servant stated, "My lord, as you have known, the 3rd kingdom is the oldest demesne of all the six kingdoms, and it's close to the Demarrow alp ranges."

"What is your name?" Ayrton enquired, ignoring the menial speech.

"My Lord, are you asking my name?" The servant was confused.

"Aside from you and myself, do you notice anyone else here?" Ayrton huffed.

"No, I apologize. Rei is my name."

"Do you know the purpose of the meeting, Rei?"

For a short while, Rei was silent. I'm afraid. "My Lord, I do not know of it," he said.

"You're not useful,"

Rei nervously laughed and gestured to the left, saying, "This way, my lord."

They turned left and entered a stunning garden where apple trees were planted in a circle and were illuminated by sun shafts.

Between the woods was a lovely tombstone. A handsome boy was lying on one of the two benches with a book covering his face, and the two benches were similar to each other.

Rei was bowing and looking down when Ayrton followed him into the garden and took a quick look around before concentrating on the young man who was resting on the bench.

The boy's long, raven-down hair was reaching the floor, and as soon as he heard footsteps approaching, he quickly removed the book from his face with his long and slim fingers.

He set the book aside and sat down on the seat while stretching his long legs. The sunshine filtered through the white shirt he was wearing, revealing his tiny yet vulnerable frame; his skin had a milky tint, seeming fragile and gentle.

He opened his eyes with a rasp, revealing blue eyes the color of the purest sea and lips that acted like rose petals. His long, silky hair flowed in the chilling zephyr like the ocean waves.

Ayrton was overwhelmed by the boy's incredible charm, who appeared to be the same age as him.

"Who is he?" Ayrton asked Rei in a confused tone, still gazing at the youngster.

Looking down, Rei said, "He is Prince Lydan, heir to the 3rd kingdom. Countless others who have seen him also refer to him as the "beautiful mute."

"Beautiful, what?!"

Ayrton was jolted out of his muddle by the term "mute," and before he could ask another question, he noticed that Lydan was watching him.

To be continued...
