The city lights glittered against the night sky as Lin Yue stood on the balcony of her penthouse, gazing into the distance. The cool evening breeze played with her hair, but her mind was far from the serenity of the view. Lin Yue looked down at their intertwined hands, the warmth of his touch grounding her. "It's just... I thought I had left all that behind. I changed my name, my life. But now, I don't even know who I am anymore."

"You're still you, Lin Yue," Liu Wei said softly. "The strong, resilient woman who's built an incredible life for herself. But you're also Xiaoyu, the girl who showed me kindness when I was lost and scared. You don't have to choose between those identities—they're both parts of you."

"Tell me about your search," she said quietly. "How did you find me after all these years?"

Liu Wei smiled, a wave of relief washing over him. "When I finally gained my independence, I started looking for you. Lin Yue nodded, remembering their first meeting after so many years. She had felt a strange connection to him even then, though she couldn't place it. "It's all so surreal. To think that we found each other again after everything."
