Jada had arrived at Westwood's early, she waited outside sitting on a brick but when she noticed students were already coming out, she stood up and immediately spotted Nancy coming out of the school.
Nancy never sat back after the last school bell, she is part of the people that first leave school.
"Nancy… here", Jada called for her friend, she also spotted a guy walking next to Nancy.
"Hey Jada, have you been waiting for so long?", Nancy asked.
Jada shook her head while putting her arms across Nancy's neck.
"Jada, meet Jay… he just got transferred to Westwood", Nancy introduced and before he could introduce Jay to Jada the girl shook hands with Jay.
"I am Jada, nice to meet you, and I love your hair… they look super smooth, can I touch it", Jada boldly asked, and before Jay could agree, she stood on her toe and touched his hair.
Jay looked at Nancy as they both broke into a wide smile.
"Nancy told me a lot about you too… it is a pleasure meeting you Jada", Jay said.
Nancy turned to Jada, "Are you not going to look for your girlfriend", she asked smiling Scornfully.
"I would video call her later, she has got cheerleading practice to do… and stop being jealous of me and my pretty girl, you are just jealous because you are single", Jada responded.
Nancy gasped, she held Jada's arm trying to grab her face "Come here I will break your face", she said.
Jada avoided Nancy's touch while laughing.
Jay stood there watching the girls play when suddenly he felt someone's presence next to him, he turned and saw Tara smiling at him.
"Oh hey Tara..", he said.
"Hi", Tara grinned widely.
Jada and Nancy who had seen Tara stopped trying to touch each other, Jada hurried next to Tara.
"Save me from this wild girl", Jada said laughing.
She noticed Tara was not paying attention to her, so she moved away from Tara and saw her fluttering eyelashes.
Jay immediately saw his brother's car approaching, he said his goodbyes to his new friends before getting in the car.
"Bye Jay… see you tomorrow", Tara said as she waved repeatedly to Jay.
Still waving even when the car had disappeared, she smiled while imagining the wildest thought of her and Jay in her head.
She moistened her lips with her tongue before turning to her friends.
"What the b*tt was that?" Jada asked as they walked to Tara's car, laughing heartily.
"Tara has a crush on Jay", Nancy answered.
They all got in and Tara started her car.
"You all be honest, he is a fine a** boy and he is mine! I mean not now but eventually, he would be mine, I would do everything to make sure of it, just wait you two", Tara added before driving off.
Jada was sitting at the front, next to Tara, while Nancy was in the back seat.
"So what about the boy you told us about last week, this was the exact expression you gave us while showing us his picture", Jada curiously asked Tara.
Nancy snorted.
Tara's hands were on the wheels while she glanced at Jada.
"Jacob?", she asked.
"Tara! You told us it was Daniel… the one in college… playing football", Nancy corrected as they all laughed.
"Oh my God Tara, you are a h*e girl… you don't even remember his name, I bet you would also forget Jay's name in a week", Jada said smiling.
Tara nodded her head as the girls laughed out again.
Nandy had just been dropped off at home, she waved to Tara and Jada as the car drove off.
She got inside and didn't meet her Aunt, the lady was either out in the bar or just in one of her boyfriend's houses.
"How are those men not even married?", Nancy had once asked her Aunt but the lady had shrugged to her question.
Nancy dropped her bag and pulled off her bag, she opened the juice she had grabbed from the fridge on the way to her room. She gulped some and put it on her table.
She lay on her bed and exhaled deeply.
The Instagram ding on her phone caught her attention, she grabbed her phone and saw a new friend request.
It was Jay, she smiled and accepted his request.
Almost immediately she got a message from him.
"Your Instagram posts are super pretty, are you home now?".
Nancy smiled as she started typing.
"Yesss ;) thank you…"
"Btw how did you find my Instagram so fast, I didn't remember giving it to you today".
She sent it and he immediately read her message and typed back to her.
"I might have taken a glance at your phone today in class and saw your Instagram username while you were watching the cat videos :)"
Nancy laughed as she read his message.
"It is okay… glad to have you here".
She replied and waited patiently for his response.
"Yay I am more glad… and I am also glad to meet someone as pretty as you… your friends were amazing too, looking forward to spending time with you guys".
Nancy read his message, hearted it, and sent him a smiley face.
"Of course Jay", she responded and put down her phone.
The sudden thought of Nolan's hand across Stacy's neck popped into her mind, shifting her focus from Jay's new message. She lay there thinking about Nolan.
The voices coming outside her room immediately made her fly up, she knew that voice.
"Uncle Rob", she exclaimed and was about to open the door when a word being said by her aunt seeped into her ear.
"Why would you sell the house?"
"It was all Nancy had left of her parent, you should have prevented it from happening"
Nandy stood there, her hand still on the door handle.
"Why are you even being loud right now, where is she?", Uncle Rob asked.
"She is probably not back from school and this is just fair to her, the poor girl has not been having it since she came to North Carolina, I had to make sure she was happy… and now the house she has left of her parent is being sold, I thought you told me you would fight for the house while Nancy is here… she should be in her parent house when she goes to New York University", Aunt Kat said.
"There was nothing I could do and going to NYC is not the right choice for her… she should be here with you, coming back to New York would make her have memories and it is not good for her", Uncle Rob said.
Nancy instantly opened the door, the two adults were in shock upon hearing the door, they stopped and saw Nancy approaching them.
"Nancy?".
