Episode 6: Chaos in the Spotlight
The annual school festival was just around the corner, and excitement buzzed through the hallways like electricity. Emily's class had decided to put on a play—a romantic comedy—and to no one's surprise, Misha volunteered to write it. The real surprise came when the casting list was revealed.
"WHAT?!" Misha shrieked, reading the paper pinned to the bulletin board. "Why is he playing the lead?!"
She glared at J-hope, who grinned at her with his usual carefree charm. "What's the problem, Misha? You're the one who wrote the play. I thought I'd do you a favor and audition."
"You didn't even audition! I don't remember writing a lead who trips over his own feet!"
Meanwhile, Emily scanned the cast list, her heart skipping a beat when she saw her name. "I'm the lead actress?" she whispered, her stomach twisting in nervous knots.
Davina leaned over her shoulder, smirking. "And guess who's playing your love interest?"
Emily didn't need to guess. She glanced at Jimin, who stood nearby, looking equally stunned. Their names were right there: Emily - Lead Actress. Jimin - Lead Actor.

Rehearsals started the next day, and as expected, they were a mix of awkwardness, hilarity, and chaos. Misha, who had decided to direct the play, was more focused on getting J-hope to stop goofing around than helping the rest of the cast.
"J-hope, you're supposed to catch me when I faint," Misha groaned after their third failed attempt. "Not let me fall on the floor!"
"Sorry," J-hope said, laughing. "I thought you were acting!"
Meanwhile, Emily and Jimin's scenes were filled with their own share of nervous moments. The play's story required them to hold hands, share meaningful glances, and—towards the end—kiss. During their first practice scene, Emily could barely meet Jimin's eyes.
"Let's just take it slow," Jimin said, trying to ease her nerves. "We'll figure it out together."
Emily nodded, grateful for his patience, though her heart raced every time he smiled at her. "Okay. Slow is good."
From the side, Davina whispered to Jungkook, "Do you think they'll survive this play?"
Jungkook chuckled. "Barely. But it's fun watching them squirm."

Things took an unexpected turn when Taehyung, who had been assigned a smaller role, suddenly decided he wasn't happy with it. "Why is Jimin the lead?" he asked one day during lunch. "I could've done it better."
"Because Jimin's the perfect choice," Nelly chimed in, giving Taehyung a pointed look. "And you're already hilarious in your role."
Taehyung huffed but couldn't resist a grin. He loved making Nelly laugh, even if she didn't realize it. Still, a part of him couldn't help but poke fun at Jimin during rehearsals.
"Hey, Jimin," Taehyung called out, smirking as Jimin practiced his lines. "Don't forget to add some emotion. You're not a robot."
Jimin rolled his eyes. "Thanks for the advice, Mr. Supporting Role."
The two boys exchanged playful glares, their friendly rivalry adding even more chaos to the already messy rehearsals.

The Festival Day
The day of the festival arrived, and the school grounds were packed with students, parents, and teachers. The play was the main event, and the auditorium was buzzing with anticipation.
Backstage, Emily was a nervous wreck. "What if I mess up?" she whispered to Misha, clutching her script tightly.
"You'll be fine," Misha said, giving her a reassuring smile. "Besides, if you mess up, Jimin will probably cover for you. He's smitten, remember?"
Emily shot her a look but couldn't deny the truth. Jimin had been nothing but supportive throughout rehearsals, and now, as he approached her backstage, she felt her nerves ease slightly.
"Hey," he said softly, handing her a water bottle. "You ready?"
She took a deep breath and nodded. "I think so."
"Don't worry," Jimin said with a warm smile. "We've got this."

The play started without a hitch. Misha's script was full of hilarious moments, and the audience roared with laughter at J-hope's comedic timing. Taehyung stole the spotlight during his scenes, much to Nelly's amusement, and Davina couldn't stop grinning every time Jungkook delivered his lines.
But the real magic happened during Emily and Jimin's final scene. The two characters, after a series of misunderstandings, finally confessed their love for each other. As Emily delivered her lines, she couldn't help but notice the way Jimin looked at her—like it wasn't just acting.
"I've loved you all along," Jimin said, his voice steady and filled with emotion. "I just didn't know how to tell you."
Emily's heart raced as she replied, "I've loved you too."
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for—the kiss. It wasn't the first time Emily and Jimin had kissed, but this was different. On stage, under the bright lights, it felt like the entire world faded away. When their lips met, the audience erupted into applause, but Emily barely noticed. All she could think about was how real it felt.

"Oppa!" Emily groaned, covering her face.
Jin laughed, patting Yoongi on the shoulder. "Relax, Yoongi. It's just a play. Right, Jimin?"
Jimin nodded quickly, though his eyes told a different story. "Right. Just a play."
Emily glanced at him, her heart swelling. Maybe it was just a play, but the feelings they shared were anything but pretend.
