Chapter 72: The thoughts of a Young Lady.

*Kaguya POV*

Kaguya had been feeling uneasy these days. 

Since she met that young singer, her world had completely changed.

Unconsciously, she found herself searching for more and more information about him. 

She insisted a lot to Hayasaka to help her in this task. 

She also found out that the young singer was incredibly famous. 

Since she unconsciously reacted upon hearing "Wandering Musician," these last few days she couldn't do anything but hear mentions of him from all the students at Shuchiin Academy. 

Her always talkative friend Fujiwara Chika showed her more videos and songs of the young man that she was unaware of. 

She couldn't help but be amazed as she watched the young man in the video. 

Just as she couldn't help but be captivated by his beautiful voice. 

She listened attentively whenever Chika showed her or talked about him. 

As the days went by, her interest in the young man only increased. 

With Hayasaka's help, she managed to have his songs on her computer and listened to them when she was alone or while doing her tasks. 

She found the young man's voice very relaxing. 

She didn't know why she felt this way. 

She knew that this was not appropriate behavior for her, a dignified lady of the Shinomiya main house. 

However, she couldn't control herself. 

Just hearing a mention of him would flick a switch in her. 

Her reason and logic went out the window every time this happened. 

She knew this was a problem and wanted to fix it with Hayasaka's help. 

When Kaguya felt that her feelings were becoming more and more uncontrollable, she sought her out for help and advice. 

She trusted Hayasaka a lot on these matters. 

Then the tragedy happened... 

Hayasaka: "... What you're feeling is love, Kaguya-Sama..." she said with a blank expression. 

This was impossible! 

She couldn't! 

She mustn't! 

She was a dignified lady. 

She was the daughter of the Family Head. 

She couldn't fall in love with a simple singer she found on the street! 

She knew that musicians always failed and lacked a future or steady work! 

They were the worst candidates one could fall in love with... 

Her logical side was very aware of this... 

Then why? 

Why couldn't she completely deny that assertion? 

Kaguya was in conflict.

*In Kaguya's mental landscape*

It was all a mess... 

Pink flames flooded the place... 

Bakaguya was spreading flowers wherever she went, and the whole place turned into a beautiful rose field. 

Child was running around in panic... 

Ice was very angry, this was terrible for them. 

Ice tried everything to repress Bakaguya after she appeared. 

She tried to focus all of Kaguya's attention on studying and practicing her skills. 

Ice tried to get Child to help her with this, under the pretext of finally beating Shirogane in exams. 

Ice knew that Child was somewhat interested in Shirogane like her, albeit to a lesser extent. 

For this very reason, she completely refused to accept this stranger who appeared out of nowhere and ruined everything she had planned. 

She thought about becoming an incredible woman and captivating that arrogant blonde with her magnificence, but now all of that was thrown away when this new personality arrived. 

Bakaguya's influence on the main Kaguya was as great as Ice's and Child's combined. 

Ice had to join forces with Child several times to prevent Bakaguya from doing something stupid. 

Once she managed to wake them up in the early hours and go in search of that young singer. 

By the time Ice and Child reacted, Bakaguya had moved them near the window. 

The idiot wanted them to escape through the window. 

What made her more irritated and defenseless was that little by little, Child was being influenced by Bakaguya. 

If Child sided with her, Ice wouldn't be able to repress her in the slightest. 

Proof of this was this chaotic landscape. 

Bakaguya: "Mooh∼ you're all so bitter. Why don't you enjoy with me? His voice is so lovely, you know... and that look he gave us while he was singing was so fiery∼" she said while putting her little hands on her cheeks and moving from side to side. 

Child: "Pervert! You're a pervert!" said little Child with a deep blush covering her cheeks. 

Ice could only give this idiot a blank look. 

Bakaguya: "Oh come on ∼ we just need to see him once more... besides, you can't deny to me that his voice is very lovely... you can't hide it from me, we're connected after all... I know you also like him a little ♥～" she said while winking playfully at us. 

Child: "Never! I-I prefer Shirogane!" retorted Child. 

Ice remained silent. 

Bakaguya: "You say that but I remember you were looking very attentively when he danced that choreography in the video" she said while moving her hand carelessly. 

Child blushed a lot when she heard the accusation and shouted. 

Child: "I never!" 

Bakaguya: "Are you sure?" she said as she approached Child. 

Child felt fear and began to doubt herself. 

The closer Bakaguya got to her, the more complicated emotion enveloped her heart. 

When Bakaguya was a few steps away from her, her eyes filled with tears, and she ran away while crying. 

Leaving behind even more pink flames in the place. 

Ice sighed at this and waved her hand. 

Half of the room calmed down. 

However, the place where Bakaguya was standing was still a flowery field full of pink flames. 

Bakaguya sat in her flowery field with a smile. 

She looked at Ice and said. 

Bakaguya: "You may not want to admit it yet since you have someone else in your heart. But since we're connected, sooner or later one of us will be the winner. And believe me, I won't give up" she said carelessly as she lay back in her flowery field and started eating pastries while humming the songs of that young singer. 

Ice felt complicated, but she wouldn't give up so easily. 

By the time this conflict occurred within Kaguya, several days had passed, and her interest in the young man was becoming increasingly dangerous. 

It was then that she decided to take a risky action. 

She would ask her father for a smartphone. 

She knew it wasn't that important to her father. 

Sometimes she wondered if her father cared about her. 

But this time she found no other option. 

She would ask for a smartphone. 

With Hayasaka's help, she knew that with one she could always have the young man's songs with her. 

As well as joining chat groups where the whereabouts of the Wandering Musician were reported every time he appeared. 

Hayasaka researched a lot and was able to find the existence of these groups. 

Even Chika was in these groups. 

But for this, she needed a smartphone and not an outdated one like the one she had. 

When she gathered her courage and sought out her father, she didn't find him. 

After anxiously waiting, she finally found him. 

He was strangely cheerful. 

She couldn't feel his cold and imposing aura that he normally emitted. 

She took this as an opportunity and made her request. 

Strangely, it was accepted. 

He told her to go with Hayasaka and get it on her own. 

Somewhat dazed, she nodded, and as she was about to leave, she was stopped by her father. 

Gan'an: "I have something to talk to you about later... finish with your phone thing and look for me later, understood?" he said as he looked Kaguya up and down. 

Kaguya was somewhat confused but nodded anyway; she would follow her father's orders. 

*Third person POV* 

When Kaguya left, the smile on Gan'an's face widened. 

Gan'an: "Sigh HAHA maybe you could have fooled your mother and those little girlfriends of yours, but you can't fool this father. You seem very interested in this little girl. So be it then, let's see how you don't join this family if I join you to this little girl. Who would've thought you would be so useful, Kaguya..." said the man with a sly smile on his face. 

Behind him, Nao and Masato looked at him with blank stares. 

Their master was undoubtedly a very stupid person... they thought to themselves as they watched Gan'an being very happy about what he considered his brightest idea.
