40 Chapter 39: The fate of Yamai Ren part 2

*In the morning*

*POV Tadano *

I was on my way to school after dropping Hitomi off at her school.

I hummed the melody of a romantic song.

I was eager to hear Komi-San's response.

As I crossed a corner I had a bad feeling and quickly leaned to the side.

Narrowly dodging the blade of a Cutter that was aimed at my back.

I quickly grabbed the attacker's hand and with a face red with anger I looked at my attacker.

It was none other than Yamai Ren.

This damn psycho!

Tadano: "What the fuck do you think you're doing Yamai! Are you so bold to attack me in broad daylight? Are you not afraid of the law?"

Yamai: "Shut the fuck up! You! You are the cause of all my misfortune! You want to take it from me! Komi-Sama should be mine! It's better if you die once and for all!" The girl said with wild eyes as she struggled trying to continue her attack.

Unfortunately for her, my strength stat was more than enough to contain her in her place.

Trying to stay calm I sighed and said.

Tadano: "Why do you continue with these useless attacks? Can't you just let it go? You really think you can do something to me after what happened last time. I'm trying to be as reasonable with you Yamai. Stop these stupid unnecessary actions of yours once and for all, before I lose what little patience I have left" I warned the crazy woman as she exerted force on my hand, making the girl let out a pained moan.

She seemed unwilling to listen to reason and defiantly replied.

Yamai: "And what will you do to me? Kill me? Rape me? Blackmail me? You think I'm afraid of you Tadano Hitohito-Kun! I have more influence than your little head can think of. What's more, you should be afraid of me. You Know? you are just a person. And you have many loved ones, right? Tell me what would happen if when you're not around... your dear little sister runs into a big bad guy?

Tadano: "Pffft... hahahaha!"

I can not avoid laughing.

Did he really think Hitomi was an easy prey?

Tadano: "Unless he has a firearm or there are more than 10, you are thinking too much Yamai"

Closing the door behind me, I spoke to a trembling Yamai.

Tadano: "What? Weren't you brave before? Didn't you say these things wouldn't matter to you? Then let's check it out…" I said as I inched closer to her with a wild smile on my face.
